Hello all

I've been feeling down last couple weeks, just everything was getting to me..so I have been reading your posts but didnt want to be a downer! Just a number of things hit me at once and I slipped into a small depression!

One of the reasons, my trophy cat broke his leg , I was devistated when I took him to the vet, becuase i know how much surgery cost's $2500-$3000, luckily the vet thinks the splints and cast will work, so poor Kiko, 10 weeks in a cast with weekly check up's -I'm just happy he's alive! But also down $1000, so my trip for Christmas is surely off, tickets were still so high-but I had this tiny glimpse of hope that some fantastic seat sale would come along and sweep me off to my husband.

Mrslwsn, congrats on getting that app sent off, isnt it a great feeling! ;D

SQ, awesome on booking those flights, any trouble booking one way flights? what airline??

Suki...no problem booking one way flights at all. We booked on Air Canada...love love love them!! Not to long ago I flew first class with them...and seriously I did not want to get off the jet. Best flight of my life!! They pampered and fed me so much...we landed and I was like...what..wait..we here?? Naaa gwaan back up for another hour!! I just think they are an amazing airline! I love that they have the TV's for ever seat..my daughter is gonna be dead to us all the whole flight if I can find her cartoons!! Either that or fighting her father for the window seat DWL!!

We are getting anxious about the passport...I forget how long its been now but it has to have been a couple weeks now!! Our whole immigration journey went insanely smooth....so please Lord do not let this be the bump that breaks the record!! Not with these flights booked dwl!! My husband asks...what if we don't have our passports back then?? January...we better!! Or what if they give them back in december and then give us a week to leave.

Mrslswn...I am envious of my parents baggage allowance to!! Especially when I'm like trying to get it exactly on 50 to make them take my bag and get as much as I can in it!!

SQ, don't worry too much about the tickets, you can transfer them over to a different flight for $75 cdn a ticket plus whatever increase in the new flights may be. Have had to do that many times. Ensure you do not buy non-refundable though.

I am really sad cause immigration has my papers over a month now no reply etc.but i would love some advice cause i am really get down and worste i am not working.Question agian i know i have ask already but please i just need to know my possibility.What can immigration be doing after keeping my pp and bc after an interview and the im officer told me 2 weeks but its almots 2months now and she haven't phone me to let me what dicison si made.People i would really need some advice at lease what u gust think is happening.i reaally dont know what to do worst i am not seeing my wife for christmas.
