I really wish i knew about this forum when i first started my app and now we have been screwed around and have to wait for meds redo's cuz they expired already how long do they wait to send out med redos??? and so what happends if it goes past the 16-17 months???? april may will be the 16-17 month mark .. please help it starting make me wonder what went wrong!!!!

Some applications will go past the average, LWU, remember that is the average time for 80% of the applications completed. As you can see from the update list, it has done for a few persons. It's still 6-7 months before you get to that stage, there is still time for you guys to be completed well within the average timing.

Congrats to Mrs and Mr, Proper as well as to SQ.

That makes me a little hopeful that me recieving "medicals recieved" may not be a glitch after all.

For my situation I still need to pay the other $490 before he can recieve his PPR and that could take up time and myabe by then his medical would expire and he would have to redo it again. I really wish I had had all the money at the time, but due to financial difficulties I did not have the money.

Thanks everyone...still in shock!! Its starting to finally sink in I'm leaving my beautiful island home...its been a long while since I've lived in Canada so its scary. Its gonna be a huge adjustment for all of us!! And my heart is hurting at the knowledge that we soon leff out!! But this is whats best for our family and our future....and there is definatly a future vacation home with our name on it!! Its gonna be crazy to know soon we will be going back to yaad as visitors..not to go home.

There are moments where I'm not sure I can leave.....today its like my emotions are on a rollar coaster!! But like I said..we are super excited still...its a new adventure for our family..a new life...and a better life..especially for our daughter!! Once we settle in...there is so much benefit to being in Canada! And thank the lawd the waiting and unknown part of this journey is over!! Huge relief!

But when we filed I joked to my husband..watch we aguh get our papers in the dead a winter!! Thinking it would take like ten months in the back of my head..and we'd be there beginning of spring. NO JOKE...we really are gonna be there in the dead a winter!! My brother was telling me Alberta got snow today!!
