Well Charlie, it is amazing how competive men can get with lights. Our community has a light judging contest every year and I won 3 years in a row, ended up with over 5,000 lights. Got to the point would take me 3 weekends to put them up and 3 to take them down. Fell off the roof a couple of times, off the ladder a few more. Haven't hung any for the past few years as living in a condo so looking forward to doing it. Won't be joining any contest though, too time consuming. I went to icicle lights as well, easier to hang. Gotta watch what you buy though, the cheap ones stop working if 1 bulb gets broken, now that can lead to hours and hours of fun. Yea, it will be an interesting time for sure, little ones are 3-4 and just learning how gracious Santa can be. Planning a drum set, electric guitar and harmonica's. I have already made plans to ensure the sweet little ones get to take there newly founds gifts home with them. Stuff thier little back packs with as much chocolate as they can hold, after all xmas is for kids

Good morning forum!!


Here in niagara falls they have so many lights put up around xmas time. Its called festival of lights and its amazing!!! I can't wait to take mr proper there to see it. I love decorating for xmas I have totes and totes of stuff. Well next week I start my xmas shopping and I'm really not looking forward to it. I'm hoping I get it all done before dec 1st but I doubt I will since I always say I'm done and end up getting more. Lol

UPDATE UPDATE PASSPORT CALL

Well immigration called my husband at eight o'clock this morning. Passports have to be in by tuesday morning with a DHL slip. Kinda wierd phone call though..she asked him a few question about where he was in and what he was doing in 2003-2004 which was on the papers already...and my husband was half asleep..so he was kinda like um i dunno..i think i was doing this...and she was like..yes that makes sense...thanks for filling in the blanks. She also told us...she can't gurantee how long they will give us in Jamaica so get ready. This panicked us both...because my parents, two couples that are friends, and some of my siblings and sister in law are all coming over for Christmas....and then going to Miami to take a cruise after they leave JA...so this could really shake things up for everybody dwl!!! Hopefully they give us till Jan to get packed up....and have our Christmas...and head home so my daughter can start semester 2 of kindergarten!!

OMG...seriously in shock...I'm so freaking happy and relieved!! Hubby is depressed but excited all at the same time...more in shock that its become real and we actually leaving the island!! I don't even know what to say without babbling on LOL!

Oh ya and just a warning for people with kids...that new paper that they ask people to fill in for dependant children...we sent it in...and they are asking us to go sign another letter with the childs biological mom for my daughter...the one they originally asked that is non official and stamped by a JP!! So seriously peeved about that...why get us to do this other form only to ask us for the letter to!!

Yup I don't think the meds updates are glitches. I have a feeling thats why we might be shoved outta Jamaica before our meds are up...I think alot of people are about get get through close together..hence trying to make everybody leave in an organized manner!!

Hi, when you send in phone records to the VO, is it likely they will call any of the numbers on the phone bill. I was thinking of blacking out my other calls to maintain privacy.

They are not going to ask you for your approval, unfortunately. Additionally, one friend told me that they called someone he listed as having met his wife, but the only information they had from his application was the person's name! So, they can still obtain information even if you don't give it to them.
