Hello everyone, I'm that silent shy member, you know the ones that reads all the posting and don't post any. I have read every posting since I joined back in July and learned a lot about this process. Charlie you are truly brilliant and Mrs Proper I feel your struggles, pain and frustration. I really look forward to reading all the postings in this forum, it helps me cope. Charlie could you please add me to the list, I'm on the list when you you click on the link but not on the regular update list on this forum. We both filled in Feb/2011. Congratulations to all those who got through and those who are getting through. Good luck to the rest who are having a difficult struggle through this process.

Canhubtor11- glad you are posting!! It really does relieve stress to post how yer feeling for that day or anything exciting or stressful that has been going on. It really does make you feel better to have ppl going thro the same thing and be able to talk to them about it and having them know what yer going thro. I tlk to my friends and family about it but they just don't get it. To them they think mr proper can jus up and leave jamaica and come to canada to visit me lol when I try and tell them no he can't do that he needs a visa, they look at me all confused lol
So stick and stay trust me it'll make you feel so much better!!!

Morning everyone, welcome canhub.

Hope everyone is staying positive and your all having a great week so far.

Proper I asked my hubby and it sounds like he did use the same doctor. The first time it was a man for the medical but he no longer does them. So it was a woman doc and he can't remember the name. It did take 3 months be4 we heard anything after he re-did the medical and it was never an update it was a phone call for his passport. Then after he took his passport in a little later they changed out status saying medical had been rec and a decision has been made and the office will contact you.

Sorry for anyone going through a difficult time right now I know that seems mild and words cannot descibe it.

Yesterday was two weeks since they've had hubby's passport. I'm thinking maybe next week he may get it back.

Stay strong ppl, keep smiling and pushing forward, remember it can always be worse, even though you really don't think it can. I know you don't want to hear that line but it's going to be well worth it in the end!

Thanks Kuma, I think I'm over the hurting now, now its jus the wait for the redo form. Not sure when he will get it but of he does have to I'm hoping they send it very soon so he can get this over with!!

Welcome newcomers to our little forum family it helps us all get through those tough times as only those who are going through this immigration struggle understand.

My husband is waiting not so patiently for the med redo papers. I was instucted to wait for them from Kingston instead of doing them all over from scratch... I hope we made the right choice. As for the police check, I was advised to wait as they may not request them.

Beautiful day here on Georgian Bay all the colours are popping up everywhere I'm going to go riding today, its the best time of the year and my horse gets very frisky with the fresh air!

Thanks RG! When did you meds expire again? I hope you get the form very soon. That's the only thing with having to wait for the form is a week here and a week there seems like a lifetime! Why not jus send it out a week before it expires to save time right, but no they seem to like to keep families from eachother!!

Charlie my fingers are itchin too, come on already KGN where's all the updates?!?!? It has been a quiet summer and now a quiet fall??? Let's get these ppr rolling!

Hey guys r meds expired in may n we got a letter in the mail the same month to redo so mAke sure they are checking the mail often! U only get so many days to do them 60 days I think

Well I'm hoping its 60 and not 90 like the last letter we got from them. I wish it would be 30 instead that way maybe we would get a call sooner but then my fingers are crossed tight that we get a ppr before the meds expire all together!!!
