Wake up, KG!!

I say...what date is it? ??? It's 36 days to Christmas!!! Anyone else put up their tree already? I don't know, it seems to me like some people are kicking off Christmas a little too soon this year. Guess they must believe in that whole "world ending on Dec 21, 2012" thing, and therefore since there is no Christmas next year, gotta get as much out of it this year!

yikes!! if the world is ending on Dec 21 then there is no Christmas this year, never mind next year! and my hubby's bday is on Dec 22 we better celebrate early lol

gosh, only 36 more days? it's coming up fast! This is my hubby's first Christmas in Canada and our first actually waking up together on that day and our baby's first Christmas too. So he wants to go all out celebrating and decorating. Gosh, I haven't decorated in about 3 years, I hate decorating and taking it all down. Since I was spending it alone the last 2 years I thought, why bother? now I have to suck it up and go all out this year. Hubby's ready to decorate now ??? I want to wait at least until Dec starts.

When are you guys starting to decorate?

Hey everyone!!!

Charlie... OMG christmas is coming so soon... what are you doing for the holidays?? Are you gonna be decorating???

Nae nae... looks like your hubby and my hubby most of talked lol... he wants to put up the decorations and get a real tree and all... Looks like we are gonna decorate in the first week of december... Some of my neighbours already have the tree up but I don't want make the living space smaller by adding the tree right now so I prefer to wait closer to the date... I feel like I am not getting into the christmas spirit at all since it's not really cold out yet and we are still on grass and today is actually the first time it snows big snowflakes that are not actually melting when they touch the ground... Anyways I hope you find the time and energy to have a party for your hubby... I'm sure he will really enjoy it...

BTW why is Kingston so quiet lately ???

Did anyone start the xmas shopping yet??

LOL, it's a hubby conspiracy!

Lonely_wife, I think I'll be heading home to Negril for the holidays. We don't really decorate or anything in my family, we just spend a lot of time together since everyone is off during the holidays. Not sure if my husband will be doing anything for the holidays so far as decorating goes either, he says if I'm there we can get a real tree and do it up nice, but if he's on his own, he won't be much in the mood.

Good evening forum!!! Where's all the updates????? Geez kgn wake up and reunite these families before xmas!!
Speaking of xmas me and hubby went out shopping last night at toys-r-us and wow it was insane there last night. Lineups were huge, ppl standing outside the door waiting to purchase stuff. We grabbed what we had to and were out of there. It feels so nice to be able to do all these things with him. I can't wait for xmas to come

Hey Mrs P! LOL, come next week it is "Black Friday" in the US. Now there's a scary shopping day if I ever saw one! People line up overnight, and the stores have already started their ads with their opening hours on TV. There's places opening at 3 and 4 a.m.! Times like these make me glad I don't work in retail, haha!

I hope everyone is enjoying the lovely weather! It's unseasonably warm in some places, so it's a nice fall out there, get out and enjoy it. Hot and sunny here in Kingston, I am hoping for some cooling north winds, LOL.

Well, here's to hoping there's more movement coming this week.
