thanks Charlie! but you can remove medicals recieved as that was the glitch in february.... hubby is doing pictures today and his doctor appointment on thursday, hopefully things will start moving slowly but surely... and my advice to everyone SEND IN ORIGINALS no matter what even if you are given advice not to... and by originals I mean BC and MC

hmmm, Ok I will send in One original of my marriage cert, and one colour copy. We only have 2 copies issued to us. I have one and my husband has the other. As to the BC, I only had my husband send me a copy of his. It will have to do.

thats what i did sent in original marriage certificate and copy bc if any i have extra mc can send in if they ask for more later on in the process same as his bc

Yea, sounds right. If they need his original BC he is there, he can get it to them. Where in the app did you include the original MC, since I only have one original in my possession and considering I have been getting the idea I need to send one as the sponsor, and one for my husband as the applicant. Cho, honestly I cant wait for this to be off my mind.

We included it in my (the applicant's section) as the applicant needs to prove their relationship with the sponsor.

ok, gotcha. Thx.

wats up forum family, need a little action from KG this week. We sent in coloured copies of everything including MC and BC's. KG requested to bring in the originals with the PPR just to verify the copies were legit, so, at least in our case copies were acceptable.

ok Thx for that input Canuck!

the document checklist for the PR application for Kingston, JA is found here

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/E33021.PDF

the first 2 paragraphs on the checklist now state that you must submit photocopies of all documents unless instructed otherwise and that "Government-certified true copies" are copies certified to be true by the issuing governmental authority such as the Registrar General of Vital Statistics in the Country of issue.

part 2. Identity and Civil Status Documents and part 5. Proof of Relationship to Sponsor in the checklist both state to submit a Government certifiied true copy of birth and marriage certificates

I put the document checklist for each app on top and used tape flags to number the parts of the checklist behind it so that a) I knew I had everything required for each application and b) CIC could find each part quickly

everyone organizes things differently, mrs lwsn do whatever suits you

jahlove - how did the PP drop off go? I hope it went smoothly

Well, my husband already fedex his photo copied bc, and its arriving tmrw, so I won't be able to put it in our app, so if they ask its there. Although I doubt they will question whether we r related by blood, but who knows lmaoooo

we sent in photocopies of the bc of my husband and kids and we only sent in one copy of the mc for the app

about how long does Kingston normally take to do there RCMP check?

Good night KGN folks,
Mrslwn I sent my package to Mississauga from Ottawa by Fedex. If I remember correctly the cost was somewhere around $32 or so. Sent it off about 4 oclock in the afternoon and it was signed for in Sauga the following morning.
