Hey everyone..nice to see you on here proper...I hope you and the famz are reunited soon.

Its off and on sprinkling in our area. We went to the beach this afternoon and it was sunny this morning when we left for church..so we figured it would be a great day. But lo and behold about an hour after we went to the beach the rain come. Still fun though!!

Hi Friends we finally got an ecas update yesterday saying decision made. My wife got PPR a couple weeks ago she sent off the passport on August 2, hope to have it back this week and then its off to Toronto to land

Hey!!! Just got back from being away and wow our plans got washed out by the rain as it was raining the whole time but we still had fun and got to spend some time with friends

Yes we are hoping to get the passport this week. No news at all from Trinidad since they last request which was more than a month ago when they asked to have the information by August 30th. I am going to poke them this week

I know this might sound stupid but what is PPR? lol...lol.....and I also have another question.....Im just in the beginning of the sponsorship process and am really stressed out bout all of this.....I want and need to know how long you have to wait before you can send off the papers after you have been on medical SFI....I was on it due to a complicated pregnancy but have been back to work since February now....should I send the papers still or should I wait a couple more months?...Any help or advice is greatly appreciated...Thank you!

Hey nufflove!

PPR = Passport Request, when the visa office requests the applicant's passport to stamp the PR visa in it. This is the approval (final) stage of an application for offices like Kingston.

I am not sure what "medical SFI" means, but if you have been back at work now for almost 6 months, I think you should go ahead and finalize your application.
