I agree Missing ...its plently long enough and its just un settling seeing people get through in 7 months and 6 months and now 4 months while you file just sits there and collects dust .....Meanwhile back on planet earth there are father w\away fromt here daughters and wife and vise versa ....

I would send that email 50 times a day because i believe whole heartidly about what you are communicating and feel ...and it is sad and pathtic that we have to resort to this in our emails...

one day this will be a thing of the past i cant wait for that

hi forum- thank you for the well wishes...
i been on homecare for 1 week..and i do bloodwork twice a week..so i am gettng used to this crazy shedule.....i am on lave for 3 months...could be longer depending on my health and i start seeing a specialist feb 9th....but i am feeling better and am able to walk now so thats good news...

no update for me...waiting on medical.....i sent kingston a angry email today..its funny because i think couple of u guys did too...coincidence...i kinda asked legal advice from a lawyer..she said unfortunately kng is extremely slow...they do nothing and the fees we pay just goes into a black hole....and our files get sit on..she said complaint after complaint for kingston.......she said the best thing is to go to my mp office...she gave me all the info the office is close to where i live so i will be going there tommorow if i can...she said explain my health situation and they should be on kng ass...we will see if they respond to my email...the last 2 emails i sent i got no response but hubby got a phonecall and his aor..lol...hoefully this rude one gets the midcal redo.......
missinghubby-our timeline is very close..i think 2 week or so you are aheaad of me.......

frequent- it happend to me...with the child taxx...i had to send in a world income letter..i just stated hubby resides in jamaica and has no income...i dont know how to help you now as your hubby is in the country...you should call and ask.....1800 387 1193 rev canada the child tax prompt should be on there good luck

Welcome to making it here....Fortunate for you sponsoring a dependant child is less work then a spouse as far as documentation ..When your BF aplpied to canad did he mention his son on his PR application?

In the forms there is a document check list...Follow that completely ..without error...

With this application you will have to provide a Up front medical exam with a DMP also they provide the DMP that are avail in Jamaica ..You need to make sure thea medical is done as close to you sending off your applcaition as possible !!

Is there anything about this applicaiton you dont understand just ask

545 days have elapsed since I filed my hubby's application!! When I embarked on this journey I never could have imagined that I would be faced with such a long wait. Most of you are farther along in the process than I am. Well, after "family day" in a couple of weeks, I will find out if a selection decision has been made.

Now what happens if they dont move it past selection can you appeal?? Or is this a appeal...I am assuming this aint a appeal because you are still in selection ..???

Maple i still have a hard time swollowing that after 12 months all they did was ask you for a interview and send a AOR....ASnd now they have dragged it out to 16 months going on 17 with still no progress ...this is absolutly insane !!!

Sponsor....Well Is the childs mother on his BC ? There can be some issues pertaining to the sponsorship if his mother is on his BC....Is the childs mother still in Jamaica ?

Yes make sure your Photo Specifications are right ....It would probally be better to send the sheet Provided in the application to the grandmother .....So that the Photographer sees the measurments
