I am just want to say that I am thinking about you and your upcoming interview. I wish you all the best...I think its so exciting...I cant wait to hear the update.

I am also wondering for all who applied September - December 2010, how come they have not given any more phone calls this week? I am anxiously waiting to hear some more good news....

Can-Indy-Jam, the mangoes are fine. Too fine. I am giving them away, you have any scandal bag can take some? Or in the alternative, I am collecting donations toward the purchase of a chain saw.

So-so, yes, the updates are still there, I am the current updates keeper. I took the baton from Nae, and am very pleased to be trusted with it. Missing had quite a journey, but in the end, she got her new beginning, like we all wait for so patiently. Confused had his interview, and according to his report on it, the IO was positive at the end, however he has heard nothing from POS since. I am wondering if his needing an ARC is an issue, but whatever it is, it's been more than 6 months with no word on his case.

Many like Nae, chelley, KC and canuck stop by to inform, encourage and entertain us newbies through this process, and trust me when I tell you, we are very grateful for all the hand-holding! I wouldn't have done half the job I did on our application without all the help and support I got here. Melmel is in good hands, I think.

Morning jahlove (I am going to change your name to early bird!), and everyone else. How is the morning?

It's lovely here in Kingston, we were awakened by the ground shaking our beds around 4:30 a.m. According to the USGS it was 4.2 and lasted for 10 seconds. However, no reports of structural damage or loss of life, so another time to give thanks and be grateful that no matter what is or isn't happening in our lives...we still have life! So often I have to remind myself not to take the little things of life for granted, and events like that remind me. If that quake had been only 2 points stronger, there could have been people for whom there was no morning.

Well, it's early yet, but I have things to and places to go. My mother is lucky I love her, I have a whole lot of running about to do for her today.

Good morning Charlie and thanks for that lil reminder. This whole waiting process sucks sometimes and i myself can be ungrateful at times but the most important thing is that we still have life and therefore we should be thankful for that more than anything else. Its yet another post office day too, for some reason I'm praying the trend continues and there's nothing there for me..... i rather that PPR phone call.

I've been to the PO in HWT a few times, can't deal with them. So slow and lacking in any understanding of customer service! Give me my little post office down in Sheffield, where the lady knows you by sight because you went to school with her and your mother went to school with the lady who was there before her anyday!

charlie... earthquakes scare me! glad it was a minor one! and i'll top your sheffield post with our grantham post... the post guy not only remembered my husband's car/face after seeing him once, but also remembered exactly what mail he was picking up (like 4 different last names in our house) and had it ready for us as soon as we pulled into the lot, bringing it to the car if it was raining he was the best! and apparently if he REALLY liked you, he'd actually call you whenever you got mail people complain about the mail in Jamaica but i've never in my life gotten that service here in Canada! i lived in an apartment building that had door to door mail delivery (sort of odd, usually you have a common box with little locked slots, in fact in many areas they don't even have door to door to houses, they have to go to a box too), and in that building i'd receive the wrong people's mail at least once a week... either wrong building (there we 3 on the street), wrong floor, wrong apt number or just completely wrong address.... i think we had the laziest mailman EVER! couldn't even be bothered to read and see if the sorters did their jobs!

oh and i know everyone says the mail in Jamaica is slow, but we got the letters from Kingston in a matter of 2-3 days, and cards from canada, no more than 7-10 days if you want good mail service... move to grantham LOL

OKay... call to prepare for... my sitter is on her anniversary vacation in Jamaica (yes i'm jealous!), so i'm on a working vacation home with the baby, lets see how much i can get done with the little terrorist climbing all over me... we're convinced our house is next to get US force invasion for harbouring his little menacing behind!
