hello everyone!!
charlie - enjoy hubby's last day!! I could have sworn I smelled your muffins from here....darn, I must have been dreaming lol
randysgirl - love your attitude!!! I was always depressed and lonely the first 1-2 weeks after my visits with hubby too. There are good days and bad throughout the process, I can only tell you what worked for me.... I had to allow some bad days/moments but keep busy and fill my time with family and friends doing things I enjoyed doing to help me get through. I personally counted 7 months from when we filed and set my sights on that month for an answer from KG. It helped me get through and I wasn't expecting anything to happen before then. In between, I always picked my next visit to JA and had a count down going to that date which also helped me. I also always convinced myself that in the grand scheme of things, 7 months or so was just a drop in the bucket compared to a lifetime with hubby. We waited 8 months and I can tell you that right now, those months of waiting were definitely worth it for me!! I feel like those 8 months have pretty much been forgotten.
I know that different things work for different people. I hope going for sushi is one of the things that helps you get through. And just think, you're already 5 months in....hopefully you are past the half way mark and almost in the home stretch now
