Good morning everyone!
How goes hump day so far? I have been sadly neglecting my joker duties, lately, but props to canuck0469 for always stepping in! In honour of Hump Day, I thought we all needed an early laugh, so here we go:
"The officer shouted orders to a nearby soldier. With considerable bravery, the GI ran directly onto the field of battle, in the line of fire, to retrieve a dispatch case from a dead soldier. In a hail of bullets, he dove back to safety. "Private," the officer said, "I'm recommending you for a medal. You risked your life to save the locations of our secret warehouses."
"Warehouses!?" the private shouted. "I thought you said whorehouses!"
Well, it's hubby's last day here for a while, so we are spending the day doing whatever. I thought we would wander over to Devon House after breakfast, take some pictures, and maybe try to see the tour. Later on, we have date night at our fave restaurant, East Japanese. He has requested chocolate chocolate chunk muffins for his breakfast tomorrow, so I am going to pick up the makings today too.
