Morning folks

Lonely wife/Jahlove, the eCAS tracker is fairly safe, I know many of the American and British applicants signed up for it and used it (I stalk their threads, LOL) and it prevents them from checking it obsessively. It basically just lets you know via email when there is a change to your eCAS, it doesn't tell you what the change is, you have to go and check it yourself.

It's another day. I am done with putting my app together, thank God, sending it to hubby on Monday, hooray!!

Good mporning my forum family, hope everyone is doing great. Been a glorious week for our friends, lets hope a few more get the call this month. Well it is Friday and gonna send a little humour

A guy is walking around in a supermarket yelling, "Cris-co, Cris-co?" A store clerk says to him, "Sir, the Crisco is in Aisle Five." He says, "I'm not looking for cooking Crisco, I'm calling my wife." The clerk says, "Your wife is named Crisco'?" He says, "No, I only call her that in public." The clerk says, "What do you call her when you're home?" He says, "Lard ass."

lady calls the police to report her husband is missing. The police arrive and ask for a description. She tells them he's 6 foot 2 inches tall, blonde wavy hair and has a smile that makes everybody love him. The police then go to the next door neighbor to verify this report and the lady next door tells the police, "You can't believe her. He's 5 foot 4 inches tall, has no hair and he wears a perpetual frown on his face." The neighbor then goes and asks the lady why she gave the police such a false report. She replies, "Just because I reported him missing, doesn't mean I wanted him back!"

good morning everyone!!! ;D TGIF!!!

I'm spending the weekend with hubby and family, it's sooooooooooo awesome to FINALLY have hubby here to go with me to family functions I'm lovin it!!!!

charlie - congrats girl!!!! it's such a hugh weight lifted from you shoulders once it's all complete....even more so once it's all sent off. Enjoy your chardonnay tonight, you deserve it!!!

lonely wife - hubby is settling in fine. He has tried eating snow, throwing snowballs and is obsessed with squirrels lol he loves watching them, tells me how many he has seen and they were racing or they are looking at him or watching him lmao it's hilarious! he asked me when he was going to see a possom, skunk and racoon lol don't worry I have severely warned him about the skunks!!!! it's not likely he will see a skunk or possom around my backyard so he'll have to google them instead. He has a job interview today....I really hope he gets it! He's bored at home all day when I'm at work and the first day he ran out the front door to greet me when I got home lol it was nice!!! he has also been cooking mmm mmm mmm I'm definitely enjoying coming home to a home cooked meal!!!! it is an adjustment cooking on a electric stove rather than gas. He's not a fan of the Winter coat....he finds it too bulky and restricting. He will only use a hoodie and risk freezing lol mind you we only go from house to car and car to house or store or whatever. But he does love wearing a toque and gloves lol He likes the snow, thinks it's not as bad as he thought it was going to be. He thinks it's ok in the house and has been wearing shorts and t-shirts inside. He's tried Macdonalds, Wendy's and last night Subway. He likes them all. That's pretty much all for now.

CharlieD... Wow congrats girl and fedex is overpriced how much for it??? 5000??? Lucky girl you got a bottle of Chardonnay.... Talking about alcohol does anyone know where to get NUVO in Canada??? I looked on the LCBO website and they don't seem to carry it... it's a pink sparkling liquor... In Jamaica the bottle goes for a little over 5000 so I was hoping to find one here for cheaper lol...

Nae nae... OMG thanks for sharing with me... Well I'll start off by saying good luck on your interview Mr. Nae and I hope you get the job... My hubby too told me yesterday when he gets here he wants to work right away... I thought he wanted to transition first but I guess I will let him go at his own pace when he gets here... Hubby gets excited to hear your hubby experience... he always asks me about you guys lol... I guess you are really the first one that I experience go through from updates to landing... It really gives me hope to read you and how hubby is settling.... I really appreciate you sharing... Thank you ;D ;D BTW I'm happy that you spending time with hubby and the family must be nice to have him there...

Aww I'm really enjoying hearing of Mr Nae's new experiences! Keeping my fingers crossed for him on the job interview!

Lonely-wife, it is going to cost me J$6100 to send my package to hubby. But, it is a rather large package and with all the pictures and printouts and other things, well it is heavy. I was expecting to be hit hard, but not that hard? ??? Dang, I sent a package the same weight to a friend in the US and it only cost me $2400! Guess that's what I get for marrying a man from the boonies

Yep, going to get nice and mildly drunk tonight, since I plan to drink more than one glass of that chardonnay, LOL. It's just been such an exhausting process putting this package together, and knowing that the wait has only just begun makes it all the harder, in a way!

Hello Everyone....looks like Kingston gave us great updates on Tuesday and now we are back to the dry spell. Hopefully next week things will start moving again.

Nae Nae, I am like living vicariously through you and hubby right now. My dream is for me my hubby to be going to family functions together. Girl enjoy your time becaue you waited long enough for it.

Charlie!... Congrats and Enjoy~!!! I remember i finished a tub of hagen daaz in celebration of getting our applicaiton out the door (i was 9m pregnant and had a scheduled c-section the next day, so couldn't really get proper frass lol )

and yes, FedEx really shafts you don't they? i think my hubby paid 42 quid to send his package to jamaica for his sister to get everything together and send it back to me (which only cost 3500 if i remember correctly)... FedEx made some good money off of our little international arrangement...

Nae... i'm living vicariously through you too... my hubby seems to be taking it all in stride, i guess having lived overseas and in kingston previous (although he did say he's buying a different make of car next time because the doors on this one froze shut during the quick deep freeze we had a few weeks back... i thought that was cute that he thought it was the car's fault lol)... hope the job interview is positive news... i remember the antsy boredom that kicks in quick... my hubby had the 7m off in jamaica and landed already in that mode...

okay... i gots lots of work to do and not much time to do it... so i'm off... take care all and have a good weekend

Lonely I happen to know about the ecas tracker with Matthew Carrol, l and I had signed up to it a few months now. I think It did a good Job of updating my email when esac started working.

I got fed up of checking ecas everyday.

hubby got the job!!! YAY!!!!!!! he has to get some steel toe boots this weekend and call them on Monday to discuss a start date....probably next week sometime. He's really happy he got work so quickly and s am I!!! now he won't have to be sitting home alone and bored while I work and he will earn his own money which will give him a bit of independence. yay he can help pay the bills lol

now we just have to introduce him to the bus system ???
