Canuck what a great story... happy to read your experience... thanks for the reply about the age thing... We also hired a lawyer to help build the case as I wasn’t sure how to do it and wanted to ensure it was done properly. We did provide lots of evidence to show that we communicate everyday for the past years of marriage and dating and also all the trips that I have token to KG to go visit him. I was just a little scared but I guess we be ok... Enjoy spending time with your wife now that she is home with you... I am so happy to hear another great story... keep us updated...

Thanks Charlie looks like you and Canuck agree that we should be ok... just keeping my fingers crossed and checking ecas several times a week as I am 2 weeks behind Nae Nae in dates and can’t wait for hubby to get a call.... I would just love to hear what going on at this point but I’m hoping that no news is good news lol...

Nae, any chance you can delay it a couple days? Hubby can tell the VO that he has a flight out on the 14th and they will likely issue him the visa for the 13th hopefully. they have been fairly quick with that the past few months. The Mrs got hers back in 6 days but we weren't counting on a quick response and booked the flight 2 weeks later.

I meant to ask if anybody as ordered the caips notes in the past??? I was wondering if they are detailed and hard to read... I am really wanting to order them but I don't want to waste time and money by having hubby print and sign the forms then send them here for me to finish putting the info together and sending it to immigration... Does anybody know anything about caips...

Lonely- CAIPS notes might prove helpful if your husband gets called in for an interview, because it would give you an idea why the IO thought an interview was necessary.

As you've said, your timelines are close to Nae's...I know it's hard to wait, but CAIPS notes take something like 30 days to get, why not wait a little longer before you go through the expense and trouble?

regarding the capis... unless you are trending outside the normal path somehow (ie you've been called for an interview, have gotten unusal requests for further information (not just the standard "original documents request", but actual specific requests that aren't standard from kgn), have a ARC (authorization for return to canada), or your timelines are outside the average (15m-ish i think?)... i believe the general consensus is that CAPIS notes are pretty much useless (i.e. blank)... i'd say it's not worth while to try, but i understand the feeling of helplessness when it's doing SOMETHING rather than nothing but waiting...

from what i remember, a few people who no longer keep up with the boards regularily have ordered CAPIS for their applications out of kgn... i seem to recall they were in the categories above and wanted to find out reasons for interviews or extensive delays... they can be useful when you know what you are looking for and know it's in there, but probably frustrating at best when there's nothing really to see....

hahahaha lol yea charlie i guess your right... whats bugging me is that I can't see nothing on ecas it says not available... i don't even see in process thats why I guess I am maybe freaking out a little bit... and I would like to know where we are at... I guess patience is a virtue and maybe I'll just hold on a little bit... I am going to KG the last 2 weeks of february and I would love it if hubby could maybe come back with me... I will keep praying ;D

Thanks for all the info on going over to the US. Lots of good info. Hubby wants all his ducks in a row before evn going there. He doesn't want us to get there and be turned around. So we will take the proper steps I guess.
