other ways to show he lived at the same address you did

- lease (if both your names are on it)
- did he have a drivers licence? any other gov't issued ID? Any credit/bank/utility accounts that you just don't have paper bills for? (you can ask them to pull a file and mail it to you that shows his name and address)
- did he go to school? ask to pull his student records

anywhere where he would have left his address to register or apply for may have a trail of that... contact them and ask to send on a copy of it.. send them the originals (photo copy for yourself), just to make them extra happy...

The ups and downs of this process are unbelievable. Its amazing what must be done to just be together as a family. Hang in there everyone!
We had good news yesterday. Our son's medical request came and so he is seeing the Dr. today. (so glad he could get an appt so quickly).

Good news for VW, happy for that.

Missing - I am hoping you have cried out the tears and ready for war. Get the light of battle in your eyes, woman, you are fighting for your life! Read over that great post by chelley, and start gathering everything. Think outside the box too...did he ever receive letters from family there? Had packages delivered by FedEx, UPS, anything that is registered? Also think about mail from government sources, ANYTHING that shows he resided with you. You can do this. You and hubby have 30 days.

I also agree about the letter. Without using any "emotional" words, describe as best he can the tone and conduct of the IO and the questions asked. Express surprise, discomfort and so on, but do not express any resentment. You understand she was doing her job, but you were expecting something more professional and dispassionate, along those lines.

Hang in there, and believe we believe you can do this!

Boo, I feel for you girl but we'll overcome this. Know you and hubby are upset, once you settle a bit question hubby on everything the IO asked, embarrassing or not so you can understand what her issues were and prepare to handle them. Share with us if you wish and we'll help with suggestions to assist you and hubby. You're not alone in this, many people have met the same IO likely and struggled with her. They have gone on to win, whether it was additional proof for the interview or at the appeal. Just one more hurdle to jump so stay strong and be determined to win. The group has made good suggestions. 30 days won't give you enough time to get CAIPs notes so you rely on hubby to tell you everything and go from there.
Know it's not a good time for a joke but you need a smile to start the re-newed process

Boo you know i feel for you girl. Cry your eyes out and then get the determination to move on. I know you are not gonna give up. I know its hard thinking about waiting longer to have your hubby home. But good news is they did not deny your file they asked for more proof which means it will all work out in the end. They just giving you a hard time and proving they are doing a job there. So gather all the info you have in the next couple weeks. Get people to write letters saying he was living there with you. It will all work out. You will see.
