So hubby had his interview this morning and was given his visa on the spot!!!
He was in there about 5 min and the questions asked were...
Was your wife married before?
Were you ever in a common law relationship?
When was your wife divorced?
What is her ex-husband's name?
How many children does your wife have?
Has your wife been back to see you since the wedding trip?
The VO asked him our wedding date 2 separate times.
Then she said "I see that you and your wife have a genuine relationship so I'm going to give you your visa today. Enjoy and go see your baby being born". We're expecting our first baby together in May so the VO just made some small talk after that asking if we had a name for baby, etc.
This forum has been so helpful throughout this process and I've made some amazing lifelong friends (you know who you are )
My advice to anyone applying is to make sure your application package is filled with lots of details and lots of proof... know it inside out... you can never be too prepared. It's a stressful process for any couple but may love prevail for all of you going through this right now!!!
