Our application is one year in as of sept 2....think we could get a call in September? I'm getting so anxious would love to hear what you all have to say? Or do you think KVO is going so slow it could be later than sept?

For the last little while it seems ppl get contacted right after the one yr mark so u just never know, what was your due date on the notes ?

It was November 3 I also saw one on my notes of May tho, and that is passed

Morning, I have a question when do you receive your "Application Number"? Is it when they send you the letter of acknowledgement that they have received and started to process your application?

Not sure about the AOR since most don't get it but when your get sponsor approval

While I only joined the forum recently I've been reading quietly in the shadows for a bit and feeling and sharing the anxiety and longing for your hubbies and the more I read and the more I see how hard it is for you all - the more resolved I am to do the inland app as while it will be longer - at least he'll be here with me and our lil man.

I truly hope you all get resolution and PR calls soon and that GOD'S peace will be yours through this process always - as I know how I feel. This forum is not just great for info but support as you share the journey together. I definitely will be here sharing our experiences!

Honestly inland apps have been getting through pretty fast these days, they've been ppl who already got through that applied Nov of last year so you just never know. You might be one of the lucky ones.

Yes, we got it when my wife was approved to sponsor me and application was then forward to kvo.

I'm wondering myself bc they started to process my sponsor application 2 months ago and has already started to process hubbys application and I am still waiting for a letter ....

I don't think Kingston has his file otherwise you would have gotten SA already they always say in process just means they have the app, depending on how long it's been since you sent off your app I'll call CIC on Monday.

Hey Unrulytammi,

Unless you have indicated that you would like the PR application to proceed even if Sponosrship Approval is NOT granted its safe to assume you have been approved to sponsor. I only received AOR and had to harass them to send me the SA when I realized Kingston had hubby's file for 3 months and I had heard nothing else. Because I had asked for the PR application to be withdrawn should I be found ineligible to sponsor I took the SA to be implied when eCAS showed hubby's app "in process" meaning it was (and still is) in Kingston. For me hubby's app had status of "application received" up to the point of transfer to KVO, once received at KVO that status changed to "in process".

Also, the application number is found in the AOR (it was the same for both hubby and I) and my (sponsor) UCI.

Hey everyone,

It's been a pretty frustrating/ disappointing wait with KVOs processing times. The hothead in me says lets all go out there block road and light some tires demanding "wi waan justice" but I'm learning to be civil It turns out when more manpower is put into clearing backlogs the focus is clearing more recent applications in a more timely manner so they don't become part of the pre-existing backlog. Doing this improves processing time stats in the interim. That's great for new apps but it also means that those of us who have been waiting longer will continue to wait longer. Regardless, let's be of good courage and wait because we have life, we've each found the love of our life and soon we'll be starting new lives when we're reunited with our spouses!

Praying for miracles and good news all around. Come on KVO yuh Likkle but yuh tallawah I believe in you!!!
