I agree. They would more than likely request a new police check/medical because the visa issued expires when the PC/medical expire.

I think an extension can be granted on the medical im not sure about the police check

You can pay extra for it to be process the same day.

Yes, medicals will be requested to be extended, but they won't do that for a police check

If it's down in Kingston at the head office u can get it back the next day, that's a bit extra or it will take 5 business days regular but JA doesn't know anything about time lol so it could take longer but usually within 5 days

I would do it a months before it expire because everything a Jamaica slow

I have my husband kids on there too and we paid $30,000 the first time. Imagine we affi guh pay that again and a nuh like seh nothing much a gwan a Jamaica like work. A swear. I feel like to just sleep for an entire year n nuh wake up until all this is over. :-X :-[

Im going down on the 27of July and i was hoping hubby would come back with me in August but i doubt it. After the PPR it takes about 1 or 2 months for them to get back everything. Thats why the time frame changed to 12-13 months

We had to do ours twice, the first one I think was in Spanish town and to this day we never got it back I was tired of waiting and finally made him go to Kingston and pay extra to get it the next day then they call him to say oh the next day they were having some kind of meeting that was a Friday we had to wait until the Monday to get it and they didn't even refund back anytime

I intend to have my husband do another police check (next day service) while I am down there so I can carry it up with me just in case they need another. I am even thinking to request the medical extension from now even thought its good until October
