Yea and depending on the frequency you go to JA to see him it can be worst. Me I was used to go every 3 months. And now the last time I went to JA was in October since hubby is here now. So now i dont miss hubby but I miss Jamaica. lolCanadianWifey89 said:I'm soooo excited for it to be over lol long distance is so hard. Moreso after being married than dating I found lol
I used to miss Jamaica very much. Now, not so much. I dont know if its just a mood im in lately, but, I hope that changes. Im excited to go down and see my love next month. I miss him so much. And hes only been able to see our 7 month old son in January for 11 days. Our other son just had his 5th birthday on Sunday and he asked if Daddy and Grama were coming to pick him up. He doesnt understand. I am crossing fingers and toes that our application process goes as fast as a few others on here and MAYBE he'll be able to come back with us in June.... and if not, at least we know its closer to the end each day that passes.MelJam said:Yea and depending on the frequency you go to JA to see him it can be worst. Yes I understand how you feel, but at least, it is soon done, the worst is behind you, maybe only a few weeks to wait now. But what I am wondering, and no need to answer cause I know its none of my business but why you never applied before for sponsorship? Since you have a kid of 5 years old, I guess you guys met a long time ago...!?shortyp2000 said:I used to miss Jamaica very much. Now, not so much. Welcome back CW89!! Wow you are so fortunate that they requested PPR a second time bc I thought that normally they would just then send a denial and make you appeal it. Good luck with getting PP back quickly.CanadianWifey89 said:I'm soooo excited for it to be over lol long distance is so hard. Moreso after being married than dating I found lol
I'm going down to visit my hubby next month too, I can't wait!! I was down there in January as well and it feels like so long ago. Thank GOD for skype, I don't know how I would be able to get through this process without at least being able to see him on the computershortyp2000 said:Im excited to go down and see my love next month.
We didnt file right away because there was no need to as I was living there, and would come to Canada just to visit and go back. My son is a dual citizen and im a resident, so there was no rush.... but now our 5 year old started school here in Canada (was going in Jamaica since he was 2), and now we have another son, so its not as easy to travel anymore (my 3 older children from first marriage would stay with their dad when I wasnt in Canada), and they dont want to do that anymore either, so its time for us all to be in Canada.MelJam said:Yes I understand how you feel, but at least, it is soon done, the worst is behind you, maybe only a few weeks to wait now. We did start a sponsorship application a couple years ago, but it was really messed up, we didnt know what we were doing, so we decided to start from scratch.
yeah So, I havent actually had to wait so long to be with him because I usually have been with him, but now its a different story.... and it feels like forever! but i last saw him in January. I was only supposed to go for 4 days, but I couldnt leave, lol. I went to the airport, checked in, went to the security part and called hubby and told him to come back and get us. He said he hadnt left the airport yet lol! So I took the kids and turned around and left. I had to wait for them to get my bags back but I was okay with the waiting, as long as I didnt have to leave, lmao. Stayed an extra week, thank god.MelJam said:Oh ok I understand now!
Yea I know the feeling. It is the worst feeling to leave hubby in Jamaica. Crying all the flight long. One time, I was about to leave and the flight was overbooked so they were looking for volonteers to stay an extra day + compensation...I was the first one screaming....yea I stay !! And because of this I got 500$ Air Canada credit for my next flights ! Wonderful surprise to have the chance to stay one more night!shortyp2000 said:yeah So, I havent actually had to wait so long to be with him because I usually have been with him, but now its a different story.... and it feels like forever! but i last saw him in January. Ha ha ha, thats so awesome! one time I was flying out of Montego Bay and my mother in law decided to make us so late that we missed the flight.... she did it on purpose, ha ha. I love when that happens Great that you have the Air Canada credit, thats always helpful!MelJam said:Yea I know the feeling. It is the worst feeling to leave hubby in Jamaica.
