Congrats to everyone for all the exciting news!! I've been following this forum for a while now and it has been such a massive help during this process. We are about to send our application off this week so our immigration journey is just beginning, but this group gives me hope that everything will work out in the end :)

Does any one know if a one way ticket is ok to return to Canada or do we need a round trip ticket for hubby to come home on??

Hi,
It took my wife 14 weeks from when the fib received the clearance letter from fbi, you need to do it asap, fingerprint has to be taken on the fib card. Let me know if you need more info.

Hello Guys,

Im new, still in the process of compiling my application, hoping to send it out before February ends.

Quick question, on the sponsored spouse form where it ask to list all addresses for the places where u have lived but you should not put P.O Box addresses....Do I omit the P.O Box address as they have asked but make a notation that the periods omitted demotes P.O Boxes....hoe do I handle that section

Regards

Hello and welcome,
What I think you should put only the kind of addresses requested, that mean with no PO Box.
My husband lived in a couple of places in his life and we never put everything, we only put his parents address.

hi everyone,

Another quick question on requesting ur notes.....which do u select privacy act or access info act?
Hi !
Access to Information Act and in the side of ELECTRONIC Notes, make sure you put a mark on Immigration File Permanent Residence, cause if you choose Sponsorship you will only obtain the info about the sponsorship already approved so its not that you want to know.

Jessie send in what they are asking for right away even if you think that they may have it already bc they are asking for a reason. Hopefully you can get it out to them very soon and well before they April 2015 deadline so that you can then get a quick PPR. Good luck!

Roxie you need to request them under access to info act and ensure that you ask for it under permanent and not sponsorship. Is it you or your spouse that is being sponsored? If it is not you the spouse needs to sign a consent which you attach to your request. Hope that helps.

Welcome to the JAMFAM MrsM! Hopefully your journey will not be as long as some have been in the past. Let's hope KGN learned their lesson and will keep to a timely manner going forward! Please keep us posted on your journey.
