YAY!! That is awesome news. No you don't need a new one if you just handed on in last week. Email them and verify though

He will be home for the birth of your little girl! Thats great

Thanks.. Ya I just emailed them.. But now I'm stressed cuz it's to port of Spain and I know it's a pain to send a prepaid envelope there so hoping mrs P can give me instructions.. Cuz I have baby brain... Lol

Stacy that is fantastic!!! So they didn't take the passport at the interview but asked for it afterwards?? Get it sent in and start looking up flights...hubby is coming home for the holidays!! Woo hoo!!

Okay wait, just to clarify: file is in POS, but interview was in KGN; KGN did not take passport after interview; now POS is asking for PPR and PC?? WTF??!!

I can tell you that MrsP used DHL and apparently it has been a nightmare!! I called FedEx and apparently they will allow you to pay for a return waybill so it takes out some of the confusion and problems that she encountered with DHL.

As for Police Cert, email POS and tell them that your hubby gave it to KGN at the time of their interview. Did he keep a copy of it? If so and if you can maybe you can pdf a copy to them with your email.

Please keep us posted and especially with respect to the courier.

CalgarianCanuck is the only other one from POS that had to deal with couriers. Maybe he can tell us who he used.

No they didn't take it at the interview.. But they asked for updated police check and those updated forms like background.. Which were already submitted last week to Kingston.. So emailed POS.. Cuz we shouldn't have to do that again..

Can anyone pls advise me on here because I am so mad and confused.

I am grateful to be at this stage in the process. God knows I waited long for this and there are people who have been waiting even longer but sending off this package to POS is proving to be a nightmare.

I called fedex and I am getting conflicting information about the prepaid envelope/airway bill. One rep said I cant get this service done from out of Jamaica and the other is saying its a draft that is done up in fedex name that will be sent in the package. Dhl don't do prepaid service either, so I am not sure what to do.

my husband went to a fedex store in Mandeville and they are telling him crap , while a rep on the phone is saying its 9,000 for the prepaid. I don't care what the price is , I just want a damm prepaid envelope and they telling me I cant pre pay it unless we have a fedex account. Is it and actual envelope that you get with a shipping label on it or what? I have no experience with this stuff and I don't want the nightmare that mrs P is going through with dhl.

HELP!!! This is so frustrating and abit unfair as it would have been so much easier to send the package inside Jamaica.

Hi Jessie,
Depending on which info u enter...when I look ECAS with my UCI number I can see my name with my address + the 2 follow-ups Sponsorship and Permanent residence...but if I look with my hubby UCI number I can see only his info...his name and his adresss. So if u see your adress with his info...I would send an email and advise them to correct it. But if you request to have correspondance by email...u do not need to stress to much about it.
