Good evening everyone and welcome to all the newbies :)

Hope everybody is doing good and that good news will rain on the KG tread next week as of Monday morning! KG ans POS are working hard as we noticed the last two weeks. Few members got docs request, PPR and status changed to "IN PROCESS" the two magical words that comes right before "DECISION MADE". We need those passport returned to their owners with the shiny visa in it, more PPR, more docs request!!! ;D

Getting myself ready for my trip to JA next week, bought plenty of things to decorate the place where we'll be celebrating my hubby's 30th B'day, and in the mean time hopefully his "until we see each other again party" (no one else other than close Family members knows that my man got is PP request, we need no bad minds to curse this happy moment). Please Jam Fam, pray for us so that my hubby gets back is passport in time to fly back home with me at the end of the week!!!!!

Jacwife, we sent a very complete application (forms, proof of relationship, history, photos, passport photocopy, Digicel call history, etc...and paid everything up front and it still took 18 months for us before being contacted by CIC and process really starting to move. If we wouldn't pay the immigration fees it might be even longer, pretty sure you want to avoid any further unnecessary processing time. Some other Jam Fam members luckily pick the winning ticket at the Kingston lottery, but it is really random even with pretty similar straight forward files. So I strongly recommend you to pay your fees ASAP.

Blessings everyone and keep the good news rolling my friends :P

@ Cafelatte... That sounds great... Don't forget to ' spruce' up your place too, because he will be coming back with u, if not shortly after 8)

I will be paying it right away. Where do I send the receipt. Should I send it to CIC missisauga and Kingston using CSE form. What is the best method to send the receipt to make sure they get it on my husbands file. Also on the receipt, do I put my name and address under payer information?

That's what I'm trying to do but so much to do! You know how the "pre-departure" is, always busy like a bee! The end of fiscal year at work, fall season kicking in, not mentionning the stress and excitment that the end of this immigration journey adds on top of it is a bit energy draining I should say... Quite sure that if hubby gets to fly back home with me, no matter how our place looks like, as long as it's nice and clean and we can finally be together for good he will find it just perfect :P

I would pay it online and send the receipt by email and fax to KG with RPRF object along with an introduction letter mentionning all your hubby's info, name, DOB and immigration file number. But first, you should verify with your hubby if the acknowledgement letter that he received shows POS information because many of our Jam Fam members apps have been transfered to Port of Spain Trinidad and Tobaggo office to help out clearing KG backlog. In that case I would send it to them as well.

Here is Kingston email adress: KNGTNIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca and fax number: 876- 733- 3480

Hope that helps ;)

Forgot to mention that since I pay the fees when I sent my application I couldn't be 100% sure, but since it's your husband permanent resident fees it should be his information on the receipt, not yours.

You add your husbands information and you send it to Mississauga and NOT Kingston. There is an email address when you pay to send it too.

Mississauga processes all payments

Here is the email...with no spaces

thank you so much for the information. You ladies provide much more insight than wasting money on lawyers and consultants.

Good Morning and Happy (ugh) Monday JamFam!! Hope you all had a good weekend :D On a positive note some of us lucky ones will be with our spouses within the week (or are already there).

Hoping, wishing and praying for some PPRs from KGN and POS this week. Think we need some chanting to let those offices hear us and how much we need our spouses here with us especially as the weather gets cooler....

PPR PPR PPR PPR PPR PPR...send out some....PPR PPR PPR PPR PPR PPR
