JahCanadian gave you some great suggestions.
Being in Jamaica myself in the midst of all this, I would also add lots of coconut water! If he can get the actual Jelly coconut let him buy it and drink it and eat the insides as well. Secondly, the multivitamins will help and the cetamol. I remember shortly after I'd return back on the island and had only been back for a week (about 9 days ago) I had a ache in a joint (which based on the reports was supposedly a symptom) at the first sign of this I took all I mentioned above and I'm fine, praise God! All my family out here are saying I'm the only one that hasn't caught it. Therefore, I share my recommendations. He should also keep drinking and eating healthy stuff thereafter as well to ensure his immune system is strengthened. Bessy tea is good, Guinea Hen weed tea as well and the good ole' garlic.

All the best!

He'll be fine just now no worries.
Please update us when he's back up to a 100 per cent.
Which should be a day or two if he follows the advice and fight the way he feels.

hello everyone,
im new to forum. I have been reading about everyones immigration journey and decided to join the forum.

I have been in this process for one year since September and my husband and I have had a hard time with this process, so it uplifting coming to this forum and seeing that there are other people dealing with this long drawn out immigration process.

After one year of hearing nothing from Kingston, I finally decide to email and got a response from pos saying application is "pending intial review". does anyone know what this means? after one year, they have done nothing? I just don't know what to think. its great getting a reply but at the same time, my husband is starting to wonder when this nightmare immigration process will be over.

Hi and welcome!!!

Initial review means that they still need to look at your file and start processing it. Hang tight because this is a long process but they really seem to be moving on the applications

Im really wondering if I should go ahead and pay RPRF fee before they ask. I am of two minds about it because cic told me to wait until its requested. does anyone have any advice on this. is this fee nonrefundable? im afraid if i pay it ahead of time, it might appear to VO that i am trying to push myself ahead.

YES!!!! Pay it. It could delay your file by a couple months. It also states on the Cic website it better to pay all fees up front do there are no delays

Most of us on here paid it at the time we applied or before they asked for it. Some did wait to pay it.

The email ur husband received is probably from Port of Spain. Probably your file has been fowarded there as many people here. U will see on the spreadsheet the people in green are in PoS.
