My meds were extended, but a letter thru post mail to redo PC and a copy of my birth cert. was sent june 3, 2014, which i did and mail it in a week later.

Congrats ... finally Kingston is awake... let the chant continue so Sammy , then Mrs. Davis can get PPR too.

Mrs. P... exactly what Mel says, go to your doctor and get a doctors note and bring it to your boss and that says it all you are free the go. The only thing is that you are not allowed to apply for unemployement benefits even thou it is a sick leave while you are out of the country.

Mel since you are in insurance....are you allowed to leave country for extended amount of time on LTD or STD and not get affected or in trouble with insurance?

It is always depends on the reason of your leave. If you have a physical problem you are not supposed to be allowed to leave country. When it is about depression....you can leave country. But it dépends with which insurers you are insured also. Not all the insurers are flexible with leave and travelling out of country....so for extend the amount of time it depends also on the plan (coverage) you have. LTD starts usually after 90 days or 120 days....so I cant really answer your question because I dont know what kind of coverage you have....

LOL...ok...thought I was losing my mind or halucinating that KGN was working extra hard today with 2 PPRs in one afternoon. Congrats to you both!!

So which one of you will be coming to Canada? I am hoping we get a double landing story from both perspectives this time!
