I booked flight only and after calling about 6 resorts with no local rates at this time or the time we're expected to go, Hubby thinks we're just going to spend the time together. It is his birthday while I'm there, so I'm actually going to book 3-4 nights on a resort as a surprise for him. He's NEVER stayed on one, so he is going to FREAK!!!!

That's great I did this last year for hubby's birthday as well ( Holiday Inn MontegoBay)... Also brought his daughter, cause kids 12 and under are free... They were both soooo excited 8)

We stay at least 1 night at a hotel , B&B, or all inclusive every time I go , feels like we are both on vacation !
Tip for everyone:
1) You can book online ex: booking.com for 1 or 2 nights, you don't have to stay the required 3 night minimum (as stated by the resort $
2) If your budget doesn't allow for more than 2 night, don't worry, u just have to check out of the room by 11/12... But you can have your bags stored, and stay on the premises for the rest of the day:eat, activity, enjoy ( it makes it feel like 2 days) 8)

I think it will be Holiday Inn Sunspree. Hubby has "dropped" the name a few times in conversation when we used to talk about resorts, so I think that will be my choice.

I was also considering the sunset, but I only know of one person who has stayed there.

HAHAHAHA! Yes, Holiday Inn Mobay!!! I think he actually wants to stay there because quite a few of his buddies work there and he wants to show off that he would be staying there... He's so adorbs.
