This year is a far better year than when we applied... However I do noticed it seems passport are taking 3 weeks and longer to be finalized!

It's too long men!

Just an update: my huzzy called Dhl just now, they said they pick up there everyday. Now whether it's only certain things they pick up on certain days. Not sure. But here's hoping today is "the day"

Yeah, you status show they requested your passport 6weeks now. Did you send it right away or you waited?

Just curious trying to figure out in my mind how long I have to so wait so I don't get too impatient!

Dhl site has updated! Dhl has the passport now.

Congrats on all the updates since I have been on here last.

Update: Hubby is settling in well. He arrived on April 5 as he had to finish up some plans he was working on before he migrated. My now 2 year old was excited to see her daddy as she connects being in Jamaica with being with daddy. The first week of him being here included getting his SIN and bank account. FYI: The best newcomer bank accounts are from RBC which includes a mastercard to help build their credit. No credit history required. Within 4 days, he started working for a temp agency and landed a full-time job a week later. He is looking to go back to school in september. We are looking forward to summer so he can swim as if he was back in Negril.
