We applied FEB 19 2013( with medical nd Police Rep) included
got the email with UCI MARCH 15 2013
MARCH 13 2014 received a call to redo Police Rep. ,Declar from non-accomp parent(letter) and PPs request,
was told Medic was gona expire soon but was still accpted by extention
redid the PR, along with docs that needed resubm( work history had gaps) plus declaration frm non accompanying parent for minor(since my daughter will be travelling too) BUT DAUGHTER'S father NOT THE PIC SO HAD TO TYPE A LETTER WHICH WAS THEN TO BE SIGNED BY A JP.(Praying real hard for evrything to go thru smoothly with tht one).
sent off by prepaid airway via courier service MARCH 21 2014

Was told by the rep on the phone tht I should do up a since the father is not in the pic nor is he not maintaining her, my faith is strong but a few times fear kick worrying if the letter will work!!?

We just received an email from our lawyer and its confirmation that our application was received. Its an automated message from CIC and it contained a UCI number and Application number. we tried to login to check "status" (not like we were hoping to see decision made or anything ) but just out of curiosity. Unfortunately we were unable to login (after x amount of attempts) using both numbers. here is the order we were prompt with on the link from the email we recieved to check the status: On the page we selec

Questions:

Is this email the AOR or receipt of application?

When logging in to check application status, whose information are used? Sponsor or Principal applicant?

The Sponsor's information, so the one who filed the paperwork to sponsor.

That all sounds promising!! Lately a few members have been asked for PC redo and then had their passports back with visas within weeks of KGN receiving everything that they asked for. If they asked fo rthe letter and you have it witnessed and signed by the JP then I would think that should be sufficient for KGN as proof that the dad is not in the picture and not available to provide something. Good luck and so exciting!!

We are still in process hasn't changed yet to DM Why would they finish something and take so long to send the PP back? My MP's office said they told their office he will be notified in the next couple of weeks. So I am to get in touch with my MP's office if he doesn't have it mid April

I am praying it happens by Wednesday this week.

LOL it wasn't much help. the receptionist just looked into it for me. Got the same information as I did. I haven't heard from the office in months. I am not sure why Kingston emailed them first but they did. I am happy about being done now just another waiting game

Ok... We have a similar timeline I submitted my application January 2013, file transfer Feb 2013... Reached Kingston March 2013.... 14 months ,Still waiting for some news ???

Now I use the FILE NUMBER = F********* to access ecas.

File transfer is the date when ur file was transferred from Mississauga to Kingston. Mississauga does the sponsor approval then sends ur file to Kingston for processing.
