lol..... I will ask hubby, I am too, too shy for me......then I have to figure out how to do it!!!Mrs. Parkin said:C&T any chance you would share one of the pics of you two shovelling??
Girl.....you are wise to be able to do this.......lol......your posts are too funny....REAL LIFE my dear Ninirae :-*....BlessingsNinirae said:I got to experience last night the whole "I am Jamaican, hear me roar" and "Jamaica is my home and NOBODY including my WIFE can make me leave" and also the wonderful "I will NEVER change to suit a different society. NEVER! And if any people don't like it, them can go s*ck their muda”
Please note that this all stemmed from me telling him the landing story and asking him how he feels about leaving Jamaica and to be very honest about it.... and so the rant began. The entire time he was ranting, I sat quietly just staring at him (we were Skyping). Once he finally became quiet, he looked back and me and said “what?! Gwan, seh sumn about it.” I just kept looking at him until he finally broke out laughing and admitted that he just relistened to that entire conversation in his head and realized how he sounded.
We then went forward with him apologizing to me and him being more understanding and asking about how often we will travel and is he able to call home as soon as he arrives in Canada to let his mother know he has arrived safe and so on and so forth.
C&T, all I could do was repeat in my head “don't take it personal, don't take it personal” lol
The good news is, he is FINALLY opening up about his fears and anxieties about leaving the only place he has ever known. This man actually thought I was going to drop him in Canada and just leave him to fend for himself. I couldn't believe it!!!! I am his only person in Canada. Me and my family, is he insane! But I do understand his fears now because of your landing story.
I know I have ranted and vented a bit today, but I am wanting people to know that just because other people like to pretend their marriage is a bed of roses, lets be honest, we all have our thorns and that's what makes it worth it in the end.
DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED!!!! :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*
Praying for you and hubby my dearest O&O :-*oneandonly said:Aww thank you C&T your a huge support to this thread and POS your truly an amazing person hopefully that get together that your planning happens so we all can meet when you and hubby get settled. I am doing okay by the grace of God he sure is getting hubby and I through these weeks. The waiting to receive back the passport isn't any different than still waiting for Kingston to send a PPR but I'm blessed I reached this far. Hubby will soon be back home.
My girl Mrs. D. :-* thank you for your kind words.....this process is so hard on folks and I am so blessed and grateful to be finished, it is the least I can do to share any encouragement at all, especially at this time of year. All of you waiting, I have been in your shoes and it is hard........but it will end!!! Stay hopeful and positive and if you cannot be positive then rant and rave and share those real feelings of frustration and anxiety and stress and get some comfort here!! Love and blessings.Mrs. Davis said:Cdnand Trni You are one special woman ! Home with your husband , Christmas coming and you're still here supporting everyone !!!

I STRONGLY AGREE WITH YOUR HUBBY. NO DAWG INNA DI HOUSE!!! NEXT TING YUH KNOW THERE IS SH*T IN YOUR SHOE.Mrs. Parkin said:Good Morning everyone!
Let's start a topic to try to get our minds off of Kingston being a bit slack this week...Nini and I were talking last night and brought up the idea of pet dogs...what do your Hubby's/Wives think on having a pet in your Canadian household?? My hubby is a firm, ABSOLUTELY NO DAWG INNA DI HOUSE!! In Mrs. P's Paraphrase: He was basically saying that if it's not a gaurd dog that will bite and growl, he doesn't want it. -_- and don't DARE cuddle it, at least not in front of him
