Well, I finally got something more than just an auto-reply that they got my email. The email arrived this morning, on a Monday! Which begs to wonder, it is a holiday today in Canada and they are working? It's only after I wrote to my MP and send them another email that I will be sending them an email every day until I get something more than an auto-reply.

Our office is unable to provide you with updates by email/fax on a regular basis on the processing of this case. However rest assured that we will make contact if any action is required. This case remains in the processing queue and will be dealt with accordingly. Kindly refer to our website for post specific processing times.

Yes, KG is working today.

The only stat holidays left for them this year is Dec 25 and Dec 26 -- this information is located on KG's website.

Yes for sure! KP is definitely an intimidating building and nobody can say any different. You actually got to go into cells and everything. They were telling us how everything has NOT been sanitized yet and blah blah blah and my brother speaks up and says: "Well I wasn't exactly planning on licking the bars" Everyone laughed at his comment. *giggle* My brother is a nerd! hahahaha!

I had problems logging into ECas all morning and when i check a few minutes ago i am now at Decision Made... So hopefully by the end of the week i will get my PP back..At least this is somewhat good news..

At least you got a specific answer!

When I sent KG an email asking them specific questions, I received one of their infamous 'don't call us, we'll call you' replies... The part that made me 'laugh' the most was the part about how they couldn't give me regular updates on my application! Regular? Who gets updates at all? :

And the only reason I sent an email in the first place is because my ecas hasn't changed in 17 months and there are no updates in my GCMS notes since February 2013!!!! And to think we pay for this 'service'...*sigh*

Lol, my thing is that it was a very specific and somewhat personal response as if a friend was writing it. I mean, even if we all got one of those inpersonal, but accurate response every few months we would be happy! So THANK YOU KINGSTON for response to my email

cant wait to send my first email january 2014 they should have something to tell me by then. I feel good when a 2013 applicant has good news.
