Hi everyone. I will be married on January 10. My hope is to have most of my application completed with the exception of out marriage certificate and wedding pictures. Is it wise to have my fiancé complete his medical and criminal check in december?

Hey there, congrats on your wedding! I was married in January also, it is a good month lol my only suggestion is to try and get it done the last possible as most of the time you are looking at a year before there is movement on your file and they can only extend them up to 3 months after the date the medical expire. Hope that helps! I will add you to the spreadsheet, click on the link below my purple thing and you will see most people time lines that have been thru and are still going thru the process. Dark green means they have landed, light green means they are waiting for their passport to be returned and white is just plain still waiting LOL

good afternoon my friend.....LOL i wish i had an answer for you about the ARC but as you know Kingston don't ever tell us anything so I have no idea.....the bring forward date was Oct 13th but we still haven't heard anything yet. I emailed them last week with a case specific email (thought i would try something different!) but no answer so far My thoughts are that they will ask for the passport next as that is the only thing left and then extend the meds but when that is going to happen is anyones guess! How are things for you? Keeping the faith i hope.....its a long process but there is a silver lining at the end.

well here is hoping for both of us that we hear something soon. Have you heard how long the arc usually takes?

I think we are the only ones dealing with ARC through Rome. I have been trying to find someone who did or is applying for ARC, but no luck.

Most Visa offices approves ARC in 2 - 6 months before they ask for the passport. We assume that Rome will take between 2 to 3 months to process ARC.

Mine says Application received Feb. 11 then medicals received no change just here waiting patiently trying not to stress out and lose my hair. It is really disheartening to see so many people from 2012 waiting its ridiculous.

Today is actually our 3year anniversary and we miss each other and wish we could be together today (you all understand how that is) but I have faith that we will see each other for xmas. Stay positive everybody... All of us 2012 applicants HAVE TO come through soon! ;D KEEP THE FAITH! **hugs**

On Ecas it just says "application received" and we got sponsor approval on June 5, 2013. I applied for our first notes, and hoping that they have lots to say, but expect that they will be blank

Thank you for the info, I have updated you. When you get your notes, just check the dates very carefully on everything and you will see if there is any movement on your file.
