Can you imagine the things the visa officers must read and see - pictures?

I had hubby sign 12 forms so that there was one dated each month of the year.

I think I read the " appeal " forums too much lol... and of course
I'm just told to " relax " God if I had a dollar for every time I heard that....
Seriously... I just want to learn why others have been called in for interviews
I did not find this forum till after I mailed the forms off.... learnt so much after...
ooopps too late... I did send 3 years of pics... phone bills.. digicel top ups...
photocopies of my passport and trips... detailed dates and places stayed....no plane tickets
{didn't save them } who knew..... no letters... sent wedding pics... medical..police... western
union... stuff like that ... I showed 3 years of relationship... the only thing they may be
concerned of is like I said , Im older and a widow... the $$ thing.... hey I can send a bank statement, that
will change their mind...lol Have a great night

Then don't even visit canlii.org and start reading the appeals...

It appears you sent a lot of proof and if Kingston requires anything else they'll ask for it.

Hello my JA friends,

I cannot believe it BUT my husband just got a phone call from POS and an e-mail with his PASSPORT REQUEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I AM thanking GOD for this news and SHAKING with EXCITEMENT......I don't even know what to do, hubby and I just got off the phone!!!!!

Maybe some good news this week especially for 2012 Kingston really needs to clear up this back log.

Mrs. Davis I wouldnt worry too much, you never what the officer will do, my co-worker is married to a Jamaican there is a 12 year age difference, he never got an interview, they were approved in a year, hope that sheds some positive light for you

Hi sammystorm19 and thank you so much . I have no idea how or why I got through so quickly and as I have said many times before, I am happy for myself; however, it is also tinged with some sorrow for all of the people waiting longer than me. Especially those with young children. I know how grueling this wait is when we do not get any regular information or updates. I will continue to pray and stand with everyone still bearing their immigration burden. Blessings.

Yes, some of us order our GCMS notes; sometimes on a monthly basis.

I would suggest ordering them at the one year mark if you haven't heard anything from KG by then. But it's a personal choice if you order them earlier.

I just got everything finalized. I hit a real ruff patch this summer, but nothing happens before its time. So I am added to the waiting list with all the others. I have not yet received any verification from them as yet.... Hopefully early November.
