good to hear ppl are hearing from kingston---though I hear mostly that TRV are impossible, I am hoping my fiancee hears word either way..it is now week 16, last he heard from kgstn was march 8th for additional info (criminal check) when we applied it was not required but stated that it can be requested..lesson learned to include everything even if not necessary. so either way I am anxious to hear the decision if he is denied--- then I am on my way to see him. Its been 7 months since I was last in JA to see him and miss him terribly.

Good morning everyone, I just went online and checked my application status, and they have updated my home address to brampton Canada! Am really happy to see some progress taking place with my application! Hope I will be receiving my passport soon!!

haven't being here for a while and seems like Kingston is trying to clear up there backlog at least we are hearing some news now that is good a least there is hope now.

all the people that got there paper work sorted out am thankful for you all, there is hope after all.

all the people who have heard anything as yet, like myself, i guess we just have to keep the faith.

I know a lot of people have spoke about receive notes. I was wondering if someone can explain what they notes are and how we would obtain them? are they worth getting?

also I was wondering on the Ecas I have had no updates on it except medical received. But they emailed me saying that it was in process. Does that mean that it is being worked on or they just received it? Because if it was being worked on wouldn't it say "in process" on the ecas?

I heard from them in Feb by email after I asked if our application was received. They informed me it was and that we were in process. I have mailed them supporting documents and pictures since then.

the only time I heard from them is a month ago when I asked if my application was received and they said it's in process and my husband will be notified when it has reached the next stage. How about yourself?

I have no idea to be honest I have no update on Ecas either it just says application received and medical received. There is different stages that our application goes through so I'm assuming were still in process but they just didn't update the system.

Good morning I think the notes are a good thing, I have ordered 4 of them now and each time I learn something new....it is easier then emailing them and you can see where they are in the process with your application, Here is the link:

I emailed them twice, once in November and once in February, both times I was told it was in process but finally my ecas went into process in March and it says we starting processing of your application March 19th......so i think they tell you it is in process even if it is sitting on an officers desk waiting to be looked at.

Tintin and Missfrustrated still waiting for passports to be returned......my hubby would like his ARC request please......so many others waiting for PPR's and in process statuses....let's finish this week off with a bang!
