Once you enter Canada from a foreign country and go through immigration you need to collect your bags if you have a connection flight. That is why if you buy duty free or anything it has to be put in your checked bags. You can't carry it on your other flight.danielle902 said:You really have to check out pricing and everything. Some companies have seat sales and stuff. So you really have to do your research!
When you stop over in Toronto I don't think you even have to collect your luggage. I think you only collect your luggage of you are going through immigration again (if you had a stopover in the USA)
But since Toronto to Saskatchewan is a domestic flight they will just switch the bags from one plane to the next.
And just in case I'm wrong - everything is documented on their computer ( saying how many bags you had. And you only have to pay for them once) (per direction once going to Jamaica and once coming home)
As for the fee for bag...NO you don't need to pay again. Once you pay leaving JA that is it
I get asked this question all the time when booking flights for passengers.
