Happy friday everyone! I know friday has become our new F word because it means kingston is closed by after 2 long weeks of year end at work I am happy its friday. I was really hoping to hear something from Kingston this week because I got down to see my hubby next weekend and I was wishful thinking that he could come home with me the folllowing weekend. Wouldnt that be amazing. I need my husband to come home with me

we still have a couple of hours left before the weekend starts in Jamaica maybe they will feel the happy friday n send out some request here.

it would sure be nice to bring home your hubby with you when you come to jamaica to look for him.....you enjoy your weekend and hope that kingston can grant your wise on monday

Wow such uplifting words thank you. I love the part where you mention praying for the people working on our files bacause even though we may get angry and upset at the progress and the back and forth we go through, we must remeber that we are not the only people wating and that Kingston is working on limited resources. We all must remeber not to take this process to much to heart and believe that the immigration officers have a personal vendetta against of us or something. God knows if I were in the case of people who are waiting for months and years (who knows i might just be)I would probably feel that way. I am glad for people like you who keep it real and strike it to us that the immigration officers are only human. I wish a speedy process for you and your husband. I don't know you or much of your story but from what I can gather you have had a hard ride on the immigration roller coaster. Congrats on the grand baby.

awww...thanks. It was the best thing that has ever happened to be besides meeting my husband. It was an un expected pregnancy as I was told many years ago I would never be able to conceive. So it's a true blessing.

that baby is a miracle from God.....

ohhh my that is wonder praise be to God.
My husband and I made a personal choice not to have any kids or our own. In a year or two we plan to adopt. I have always been passionate about all the children in the world who do not have a family and would love to one day be able to contribute a part of the solution and provide a happy home for one or two of those kids. Right now there are two kids from my husbands mom district that lost both there parents they did not any other relatives except for an elderly grandmother who passed away a little less than a year later. MY husband and his family took them in and have been raising them. We want once he reaches here to be able to legally adopt the two of them and bring them here. Right now i am in the process of seeking advice on our options.

i think that is a very good things you are going to do for those kids...i think you and your hubby should think about having at least one child together also but at least you will have someone to carry on both of yall legacy aswel.

Thank you Need to be with Hubby, I just dream of the day when this can become a reality and can put this process behind us. There is so many things that me and Maddants are planning and when he gets here and this will make everything complete. Plans for job hunting for him plans for his and my family. Even if times can be hard sometime, just by being together will make it more bearable. I feel for everyone on here as extended family. I wish everyone good blessings and pray/hope this process goes good and smoothly to be reunited with their loved ones!

Hi guys, today makes 1 wk since my family brought in their passsports to the embassy, and Wednesday gone made one wk for me. I'm dying to know why it would take so long just to put the visa in the passpprt. Geezam pees. :-[

Good evening everyone I just returned home from Jamaica. Haven't got to read much congrats to anyone on any updates, pprs, landing stories. Missed everyone met up with Sammy in Ja her and her hubby showed us real beauty looking over kingston what a site to see.

Aww thank you had a really long flight home lol 5 hours drama on the flight. I'm really feeling depressed crying to be honest. Thanks for asking its going to take some time to get back to myself. How are you?

awwwww sis......it sure is very hard to leave your love ones behide you. it so hard to say good bye...when my wife is leaving me at the airport, i feel like cyring like a baby cry for his mom but i just hold it and tell myself that one day i will be reunited with her...that is what that keeps me going...so sis just hold the faith because it not going to be forever...God is going to make sure of that...

I felt so embarrassed crying on the flight. Hubby and I had to do a fast and quick kiss, love u and goodbye before we fall apart. This was the second time for us first time when he left canada and now me leaving. My first trip was amazing. We rented a car went all over from kingston, farm, st Ann, ochio, Montego Bay, country got fresh fruit and vegetables. I loved jamaica I got a lot of stares lol. My hubby lives in maypen Clarendon I enjoyed our house. Was treated like royal from hubby and his dad. I dropped off a huge package to kingston supporting documents second day I went down. OMG I love mega mart lol. I hope you and all the long waiters get through soon. I need my husband to get through soon he's so depressed his family likes dad and uncle say he's driving them crazy lol.

Maddants I love the weather but thank goodness for a fan lol. Jamaica is beautiful I loved Montego Bay the most so did my husband. It was a wonderful feeling traveling to Montego Bay and ocho when it was both our first time. I'm coming back soon hopefully to tan this time and not burn lol. The water omg I loved lol poor hubby got darker lol. Had him in the water soaking up the sun.

I hope it won't be more than a year my father in law said my hubby is driving him nuts lol. All his attitude and crying for his wifey lol he's depressed poor soul. Trying to uplift him is hard when he just wants out lol.
