There is no consistency with Kingston. Hopefully your application will be processed in record time! There are several people who have gotten through in six months or even less time!

Hence why I said every application is different! ;D

if i email them will that affect my file any?
i don't want to email and then they were about to start my file and put me back at the bottom of the pile or something in that matter is that how it work?

We would like to think that if you send an email that it won't affect your file but nobody really knows for sure. Most people on this thread have sent one or several emails to Kingston and I think we would all agree it doesn't affect the placement of your file.

we did put that on the application we also added a letter to our application explain that the reason why we took to file the application is due to both of us wanted to complete our studies before we filed the application.

to be honest we have been back on forth on weather he would come here to live or if i would return home to Jamaica. But i have come to love this country but i think with his degree in marine biology he would be easier to find a job here in Canada than in Jamaica, we do intend to return home one day because Jamaica has both our hearts

See you covered all the bases......at least they know why you waited and that was a good reason to wait too! Canada is really all about sponsoring people with a good education also because their goal this year was to get more people here with good skills that can contribute to Canadian society and the workforce. Marine biology eh! Wow that is some deep S*&t! LOL

(Not skilled in the family class but skilled in the skilled workers and PNP programs I mean!)

Honestly, Yolo, the first email I sent KG was on Dec 31, 2012 because my hubby's medical and police certificate were expiring. They responded to me on Feb 14, 2013. I followed up one more time with them in February to ensure they got what they asked for in the email. Since they didn't respond to that email, I followed up with them two more times. They confirmed they had what they needed. I will now leave them alone...until June...
