@ Kc trust me i that battered and bruise state is a constant reminder...hehehehe. yeah hubby surprised me one time, said he was coming on a particular date and showed up a week before.... i was sooo happy but at the same time i was surprised and didnt get my hair done or nothing, was waiting on the last minute to do everything so i looked super hot for him. lol. but all in all we had a great time and that was a good surprise.

Just got a little Update, MP contacted hubby, said she spoke with KG and was told that nothing is wrong on our file, everything is going smoothly and that now the wait time for most application is 15 months. She said that our 15 months would be 1 August so we should be completed before then so we are PATIENTLY waiting. lol

anxious... that is great news... what a perfect time to come to canada... just before Caribana and during the hottest months of the year... fingers crossed that it all pans out for you.

lol ... girls have so much to do to prepare huh... hair done, toe nails, finger nails, plucking, shaving, waxing, threading, everything..... and its so true.. i always get all of that done the day before i went to visit hubby so that it looked fresh too..

This year looks like it is setting up like how it went last year with KG... quiet quiet quiet until around August or so...

but really... 15 months... ouch!

Jamwifey as we already said every case is different, i guess im in the 80 percent of people who get thru within 15 mnths. u may fall in the 30% u never know.....

Evening everyone

Well...if 15 months is it with KG...that would be October for me!!.....Not going to wait that long to see my hubby!!! NO way.

I am working like never before!!! ha ha......this having to be in the office at 7:30 AM is for the flippin birds!!!!! I am a night owl and I just don't want to go to sleep yet!!!!

Oh ya I almost forgot...GO HABS GO!!! just thought I would throw that into the forum 8)

Well I am going to hope for something tomorrow... but won't count on it...SO I will wish everyone a great weekend as I am at work all day then back home cook dinner and then off to my sons ball game at 6 PM and of course....afterwards going to slip down to the bar for a cold one or two or three or or or..he he 8)

It doesn't surprise me that they said that tho . Last year when frequent and KC got through everyone was shocked and wowed how they got through so quick a (30 percent) ..So it is possible that others will fall in the other perentages.

Look at helpme and chelly ,they didnt even fall in to the stats . So KG is unpredictable really!! a

And as i sit here over a year later i see no sort of trend with them . So I would say to everyone, just try to use your resources MP, emails , CAIPS and just go with the flow. I by no means helped myself during the process , I went MAD trying to figure out this and that . When in fact my file would be completed when it was completed and I couldnt control it ..

It truly is easier said than done . But I can truly kick myself in the A$$ cuz I behaved so irrational at times. Now its a little more clearer to me , I coudnt control anything no matter how i tried. So no point in getting mad. I stopped living my life for 3 years. All i can think is what a waste, mabey I am the only one who behaved so.

But if all I wanted to do here is remind you all that this process cyaan dunnn yuh yah kno ...Dont mek it break yuh ...tek it in stride ....an jus know your time all soon come no matter how long dem a tek ...But dont let your precious life be affected by dem at KG ...NOOOO SAHHH ...Dat mi woulda change cause nuttin nuh worse then bad mind ....yuh see !! An trus mi mi had one hell of a chip pan mi shoulda fi long time !!

KG really unpredictable and nothing we can do to control what happens on our files. All I know is time flies by so quickly and tho it may feel like its dragging cause we are missing out on time with our hubbies/wives. But before you know it this process will be done.

Yup so I stay positive. Hubby says "babe even if it takes the full 15 months we are halfway there" Plus we get to see each other twice during that time. So no worries.

ITS FRIDAY!....

Your story about the wait, etc is so true. I completely understand and I know that one day in the future we all will hold our heads very high, reflect back on this time of our lives and laugh it off. As much as we have so many questions that we need answers too from CIC it gets very frustrating to know that as much as you try, the chances of getting answers are very slim.

Nonetheless, the process has started for most of us and it will one day come to an end. 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 15, 20 months it will be done.

My partner is coming down to visit me in June and then we are heading down to Barbados in August for a vacation.

I haven't even booked the vacation yet but I am already EXCITEDDDD and started planning the outfits I want to wear (there isn't many to chose from)

lcw - well said about the wait etc. I'll be ready to submit the applications in a week and hearing the wait is somewhere around 15 months was discouraging your post was great to read after that!

I really want my husband here for Christmas but that may not happen. I'll hope and pray for it just the same!

JW - Since I read your post... all I can think about is Calgary....in January???? I'm shivering at the thought!!! I hope you get through much sooner than that!!

LCW - I have resigned myself to that fact long ago. Once I realized I was able to overcome my 'obstacle' I just let the universe take over. Another observation that I've made over the last 18 months I've been participating in this forum is that we (Kingston JA) have yet to hear of anyone getting denied. If you read some of the other threads.... not everyone is so lucky!!! Even though some of us my have to wait for 15 months (20 + in my case) we should all be grateful that we all WILL be reunited with our loved ones in Canada.

Don't even get me started on my opinions on dat RASS war or the military in general.... I'll try to leave politics out of this.... Cdn goverment free from corruption????? ????????????

I'm in an awesome mood today.... maybe cause I'm high off the 2 cans of Rockstar I just drank!! 8)
