Truth be told also, in order for someone to get the training they need in Canada, they need education....in order to get the education they have to go to school of some sort to get it....which in tail requires money and if you dont have ALOT of money sitting around then you need to apply for OSAP, hmmmmmm.....moral of the story: more $$$$ in the Canadian governments pockets! They will find a way to get your money some how and still yet Canada is in debt up the arse!

My husband told me there are alot of places in Canada that help Immigrants upgrad there education free of cost. We have started looking at those place too and there are loan available too. It is sad but Jamaica is a developing country and they are developed and our eduation curiculum is different , so I totally understand. We gotta do what we gotta do right?

hey there sis.....i sure do agree with you on that...they should set up some type of credit system to give foreigners some exemption credit for there skill so they dont have to waste alot of time going back to school for the trade that they already know...

If you have a transcript you may get credits for sure. And if the school is legit.

As soon as you pay the fee, you should scan the receipt and email directly to KG showing payment. That would speeden things up I believe.

Do the frigging happy dance here! Hubby heard from Kingston today. They are asking for some additional documents and the RPF fee. Wooooohoooooo I am too afraid to hope that this is the end but the other half of me is saying we are almost done! Thank you Lord for answering my prayers and Ready's prayers and Blondies prayers and anyone elses prayers that have been praying for us.....please please please let this be the end!

hey sis i think you still have to mail the receipt to them even though you fax it to them......when my wife paid the fees she still had to send cic the receipt so the can put it in the system......that what they told her when she call and ask them

Freaking bells are jangling......got thru without the fingerprints.....hopefully it goes the same for the ARC and then hubby and kids will be home with me........paying the fee tomorrow sending info to CIC Mississauga and Kingston thru fax and 3 emails to each email address lol someone has to get it! The documents are no problem.... they just want an update of his address and what he has been doing since January 2012 and a copy of baby mamas ID and we are good to go!

Wo thanks for the detail I will bear all that in mind what I have been doing since Jan too. lol
