Well to come to canada it's not easy and a whole sponsorship application with millions takes time to process. If you classify that as a punishment idk what to tell you. Good luck in the Canada lifestyle I hope you won't feel aways waiting 5 years to become a citizen.

the 5 years i can wait sis but at least i would be in the country with the wifey so i would not have to worry about that part so much.....but been away from your spouse for so long and when you do see each other..thing are wonderful until someone have to go away again...this hold thing to me is just a money making thing...........lol

today is 3 months since kingston has had our application and 5 months since we applied. I pray to god that we hear something soon. I have sent a email to kingston 10 days ago and havent heard back from them as of yet. plus one email every 5 days waiting from a response to the first email. My husbands medical runs out the first week in april and my hope is that they will extend it for us. that would be some great news if only they would get back to me lol

Yes, both. But they give me the exact same info when I sign into e-cas, so if you only have one or the other, as long as they are both for the applicant, it should not matter.

It will be much easier to deal with any obstacle as long as we have our spouse. I am sure if we were with our spouses while going through process it wouldn't be so difficult to deal with and we could exercise more patience. It just kills me not knowing what Kingston is up to....I think they should hire someone specifically just to respond to enquiries, that they don't have to worry about taking time away from the officers who are doing the actual work our files.....

Maybe they were putting on the last touches today so they can get the ball rolling for the rest of the week. They still have alot of work to do, so someone need to give them some energy boost to keep going...
