I emailed kingston yesterday to ask if they received my husbands passport and documents requested and if they need anything further, they replied today with a short answer "documents have been received and the application is at the final stage". That means my husband aint getting nothing today . I was hoping they would say passport has been shipped.

TinTin.........your hubby will get his passport...just have some patient....i hear of some people getting there passport back more than 2 weeks...you should be jumping for joy still knowing that your hubby will be with you very soon

good afternoon family

I have a question to the experts on all things Jamaican (maddants this is especially going out to you)

so here is my question ..... when i go to Jamaica in May hubby and I want to rent a car ...the thing is neither of us have a valid drivers license and his dad would be the primary driver ..... so anyways every car rental place i see online is saying you need a valid drivers licence and credit card in the primary drivers name... anyone know of a place in Jamaica (Kingston area) where we can rent a car at a decent rate paying good old cash.....? obtw want to keep it under 1000$ Canadian dollars including insurance .....please and thanks

hey sis.....if you going to rent a car here in kingston.....you just have to find someone out here that will rent you them car like most people do....if you want i can check some ppl for you so you can get a car.......right now most of the ppl here that is renting cars would cost you about 3500-4000 a day but if you rent it for more day they might give you a discount....the long you rent it the cheaper it become...just let me know and i can link up someone fore you or just get your father inlaw to check out some for you
