Hey there everyone,
Hope all is well with everyone. Congratulations to all those who made it successfully in their journey getting their spouses to Canada. For those of you still in the battle, keep faith, be cooperative with CIC and don't let long distance make you depressed at anytime throughout this battle.
I must say that I am still stuck in GT waiting to hear some sort of news from POS. It gets overwhelming to see days and months go by without a small update from that office. Calling, emailing or getting contact with the office is a total complete waste of time. I think I have just given up those options and am just waiting to hear what comes next.
I will ask my spouse to order CAIPS notes to see how far they are in the application process.
Just a quick update for those who are new,
Application filed: June 2009
Approved: July 2009
Processing: August 12, 2009 according to Ecas update
Meds received with application to Port of Spain
AOR sent: November 2009 stating app. takes 6-12 months to complete and contact office in 3 months if not hear anything
My case is an ARC case as well
Removed from Canada: January 2010
And the wait continues ..............
It gets boring over here after a while especially when there is very limited activities available. More so, finding a job is nowhere in the near future because there are way too many qualified individuals with very little employers.
Anyway, it was great coming back on the forum. I don't always get a chance to drop back and keep myself updated with everyone. I hope you all can understand!
