Do you know if Kinsgton always requests another police check if the first one submitted has expired?

I do not know 100% as it is not listed as a statistic and I don't know all applicants to ask. But, for the applicants in our forum, they have been asked including:

I believe that they will ask for it if it is expired. That is my opinion and certainly noone has to take my word on it.

Hey everyone, havent been on in a while, darn work, lol...hope your all doing well..have been keeping up with things as much as possible, but am having a couple of problems...when I spoke to my other half, he said that he has been told to wait till he is told to go for his medical by the embassy, this is what people in Ja do, is again what he was told. I told him that no, you go to a specific Dr. and they have the forms there. Am I right or wrong on this? As for getting a digicel printout for the last yr of calls, the company told him that if its needed, the embassy would get ahold of the them to request it...does this sound familar to anyone? Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday...stay warm, those of us dealing with our lovely winter weather, lol.

Thanks for the advice, well our letter from CIC inviting us to continue our application was dated Nov. 24 and we only receive Christmas Eve which Im not gonna lie was a great gift. We are so eager but when we go on our e-cas there is no still updates regarding our application.

Hi Carli, my hubby was telling me the same thing about the medical and he wouldn't listen to me, until I got an email from cic telling me that the medical is missing from my file. They never want to listen, they think that they know everything.

In our case we are married since 2008 and we had a beautiful daughter shortly after, we are applying outland and dont think we have anything really confussing about our relatiosnhip. By the way yes in Kingston but tell you the cold a bite weh tonight.

Blessed yes but we all are, you guys are very strong but we did some hard times too such as my hubbie not being able to be present for the birth of our baby which was hard but that pain brought us even closer in the long run. I just hope and pray things soon sort out for us.

Question for everyone!!

In order for CIC to issue a valid PR visa, does the police certificate have to be valid/unexpired?

It only mentions the medical or passports being valid in order to issue a valid PR visa but nothing about police certificate.

Reason being is hubbie is planning on redoing it on Tuesday. Just wouldn't want him to redo it if it's not required for CIC to issue the visa.

hey sis i would tell him to wait and see if he should do it......because some ppl have to do it again and some ppl dont....it just depends on the immigration officer if he need it or not just like the medical
