Good Morning Fromadistance!!

Why can't they provide you with a general employment letter with start date, salary, full time/part time? Don't have me deal with them myself!! LOL

Yes if worse case scenario, sending your pay stubs will have to do provided you give CIC an explanation. Provide bank statements showing employer direct deposit if possible.

Just being difficult I guess! Thx I'll def b sending bank statements and pay stubs

Good Morning Channy.........welcome to this forum....to answer your question about which fee that you have to par first...when my wife started my papers back in January, she only paid the $550.00 Canadian dollar first. that fee is the fee for the person you are sponsoring but if you are sponsoring your spouse and kids then you will have to pay more money per child....you can pay the permanent resident fee aswel with your application which is another $490.00 Canadian dollars but remember you dont have to pay for the permanent resident fee when you send in your application. Just go through your application thoroughly and it should explain to you what the fees are. they say if you pay the rights of Permanent Residence Fee you time will be cut down by 2 months of your sponsorship time...but you will have to send in the money with the application......i hope that this will help you get started and once again welcome to the forum..........if you have anymore question they have alot of friend ppl here that can give you advice on your situation

Hello

My husband received a call from the Visa office, asking that he send in his passport.

Does anyone have the address where he needs to send it to?

AWESOME NEWS!!!!!

He needs to drop it off at the Canadian High CommissioN @ 3 West Kings House Road in kingston

I believe he also needs to send a self address DHL envelope so that they can return the passport. Will you please share your timeline?? when did you apply??

applied june 2012

he will be sending in his passport by courier. Shouldn't he be sending it to the attention of the Visa office?

Does it have to be DHL? usually how much does courier there and back cost?

Mailing address:
Canadian High Commission
P.O. Box 1500
Kingston 10
Jamaica

I know that they specifically ask for a DHL envelope for the return of the passport so if you are going to send it by courier then I suggest you use DHL. Im not sure about the fees but I'd say about $2000 one way.
Congratualtions on the PPR!!!
