as for me though that is where i'll be on that date so if yall are free up holla
i am a pretty by the book person (on of the few who do not travel on bp time )
so once i set a schduled in mind thats the way i run it still .... taking hubby sometime to get used to my anal ways hes more of a free spirt ..... but hey love me or leave me thats how i am...... by no means am i mrs proper i just like having a set idea of what i am going to do that way everthing gets done

charlie ......my husband has 2 kids that we are NOT adding to our application and kgn wants him to sign a declartion sayin he is aware he will NEVER be able to send for them in the future.... if he signs that is my husband still aloud to apply for a vistation visa for them if like he wanted them to come stay with us for the summer or vacation some thing like that would he still be able to do that

Hey everyone. Icesfluffy, I saw this question on the general forum and answered it there already but I will repeat it here:

Yes, the children can apply for visit visas, even though they are excluded from being sponsored as members of the family class. However, their chances of being denied the TRVs are even higher, due to the fact that KG can feel that the TRVs will be a way for them to circumvent their exclusion from being sponsored and over-stay in Canada if they are permitted to visit their father.

and obviously i guess they are tired of me going away; so i informed them that basically its either I get to go for 5 days for my anniversary - or they will have to let me go.

Now ...i wouldnt stay unemployed for long....but question is: Can i still qualify to sponsor, even if on e.i a couple for of months??

absolutely......as long as you don't go on social assistance (welfare) you will be fine.....E.I. is not considered a form of "social assistance"!!!!! I bascially just had to do the same thing for the first week of October...but it turned out positive in my case!!! Good Luck with yours....

You see IM fairly reasonable: rather than wait last minute: I informed them of my plans, and suggested that they bring in some temp help while im absent, or a student who would like to acquire experience for a short terms placement.....Where then I was told that this is a business, and we all have personal reasons for wanting to sometimes take time off...but doesnt mean we always can.........

hmm..............WRONG ANSWER!!!!!! I told them plain as day, nothing will ever come before my marriage, or my kids...I dont live to work i work to live.

I said do let me know in advance....then they questions how much paid vacation i have....im entitled to 3 paid weeks per year....only 2 which ive taken thus far..........

Either way in a nutshell.....i aint missing my aniversry for the sake of slave work.....i went through these motions last time i took time off....but really..........im good, and maybe a little break would in fact be nice - i like making money so making half my salary on e.i isnt exactly motivation to stay on it lol...but for now....mess with my anniversary date, after i was employee enough to be reasonable with proper notification, and suggestion....well tuff terds.

see the thing about this place is though - went they fire ppl they make them wait forever, for their ROE........last man waited 2 months....he was still coming in to the office everyday without pay.

I work in a very different environment.

he wont be able to apply for a visting visa for them they are only 10 and 13...i forgot to add in that there grandmother lives in new york she is is also in the process of sponcering her daughter witch is my husbands baby mother and the 2 kids to go and live with her would it be a bit easyier to get a visting visa from there
