:LANDING STORY

Hubby's flight landed in tdot at 1am friday morning. His bestie picked him up and they started their drive north at 5am. They got home at 2pm, I was sitting in the parking lot waving my Ja and Can flags. He got out of the car and we hugged...looong time...then kissed...lol...while his bestie and the entire ValuMart parking of of customers watched. LOL

It's been...bliss....we've polished the mirrors I still can't sleep, I'm just touching him and hugging him to make sure he doesn't disappear. I have a crazy sense of peace... we're just sitting on the couch together right now, I've pictured him there so many times. K done now...cuz I'll make myself cry.

Love you all and still sending my good vibes for a speedy timeline for you!!!!

thanks for all the congrats and hopefully everyday we all get some good news.quick quest...am going to Kingston to drop the police record off next Thursday. I know thats a long wait but because of the holidays..that's when I will receive it...for the backgropund declaration that was also included in the package it has my filing# attached to it..but nothing states that it should be returned to Kingston..so should it be returned as well with the police record because, I notice that, at the back of the form it has an area that I might have to sign in the presence of immigration officer.

Akinna, I am not sure why that piece of the form was sent back to you, I don't know of anyone getting it back. Check to make sure everything is filled out correctly except the part asking for the signature in front of an agent and return it if all is well.

In making my final preparation to move to canada, i must say that i am having a hard time getting rid of my stuff here, meaning getting them sold, any suggestions.

Good morning and Happy Independence Day to all. I hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend and making the most of the holiday safely.

DG, some of it you'll just have to give away. I was going to take all my stuff back to Westmoreland and leave it with my mother and brother, in the end I had to give away my desk and chair because they could not fit into the van. I gave away a few other things I knew no-one in Westmoreland would be interested in, such as my workout equipment. Lots of clothes went to the Salvation Army, kitchen things went to friends that wanted them, same for some computer equipment, etc. What someone won't buy, they just might have use for and will accept it if given freely.
