Good morning all

Well here is my landing story i was on the phone with hubby and kids beore they boarded in montego bay they had a good flight and immigrations was fast , hubby had enough time to grab food and get on the next flight. my mom,her bf ,my daughter and I drove to the airport with min left for them to land. I was on the phone talking to jam girl my nerves and everything hitting me Worried they didn't get on the plane in TO , but as I was watching all the people come down the stairs all of a sudden I see three big smiles and I start yelling there's my hubby and kids I was soon excited hubby couldn't even get off the steps and I was hugging him and the kids I started to cry I was soo happy they were there jam girl was crying my mom was crying , we waited for the luggage and got in the truck and drove to the next city for the night i surprised hubby at the hotel with a new phone with a Canadian number. We all sat up and talked and then finally went to bed next day we went swimming and met up with jam girl and her family . By Sunday hubby had a job offer , monday I did up a resume for him and emailed it to one company and not even 20 min later they called him for a interview and was hired on the spot and so we had to get all his cards and bank stuff done yesterday cuz he started work today I'm back to work tomorrow and the kids have to go to the sitter tomorrow so I hope they behave
Only time will tell....

ok, i am watching yours as ours is so close, your med was done on may 22 and mine may 25, so did immigration called u cause they called me 2 weeks this week asking me stuff about my son in college, is that an interview

ok, so you have done your medical before the file transfer to kingston, is that so, r u living here or in canada at present, not popping into your buz just trying to understand the system

My medical was submitted with my application June 06th 2012...medicals/criminal check has to be submitted in with your application with spousal sponsorship applications...also, im living in Brampton, ON, CA

ok, so u have a long wait to go, not discouraging u cause sometimes system changes, i am filing with my entire family to go to manitoba

Hey everyone, I just went on cic site and went into ecas and decided to look at the steps for processing applications. It goes like this: inside Canada :

Application Received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC)
We have received your application and will review it in order of receipt. We will send you an acknowledgement letter.

Documentation Verified by CIC
We are reviewing your application to make sure it is complete and that no documents are missing. We will return incomplete applications for resubmission.

Medical Results Received by CIC
We have received your medical results. We will contact you only if additional tests are needed.

An Interview May be Required
We will review the application and decide if an interview is necessary. If so, we will inform you in writing of the date, time and location of the interview.

Sponsorship / In-Canada Application for Permanent Resident Status Determined
The sponsorship applications and In-Canada Application for Permanent Resident Status will be either approved or rejected. We will inform you in writing in either case.

Permanent Residence Status Determined
If your application is approved, we will send you your permanent resident documentation and a letter saying what we need to finalize your permanent residence


then outside Canada:

Does this mean that I will not hear anything from them until they request an interview if needed or medical results updated in the last phase?? I am outside Canada, and i notice they are updating some peoples medicals right away but a bit curious if this is the reason mine is not updated as yet..

Keeping my fingers crossed, and praying...God is miracle worker like that, i truly believe it! I dont think my process will b that long..
