FYI - on the list that has the dates sent... i did it from the month you sent the package to Missisauga. not to Kingston. Totally doesnt matter in the big scheme of things - but I got most of those dates off of trackitt and the application sent date was easier to recognize!

thanks for letting me know it is a holiday tomorrow...at least one day i don't have to check the phone 100 times to see if hubby called to let me know that he got the call...blah...

we are supposed to get snow storm tonight/tomorrow so my boss asked if i wanted to stay in a hotel tonight so I don't have to drive from outta town so i said yes..staying at the crowne plaza..I'll relax a bit in the pool and maybe try to destress a bit!! Have a good night everyone

small little update.... got the CAIPS notes.

Has all his info. shows that we'ce passed paper screening as of Dec 14-09.
Medical code is M19 and it's a premedical valid until August 2010
shows our interview date as the Bring-forward

It has all the details of past applications. my sponsorship application details and notes that I provided letter of employment, paystubs and T1. Shows our daughters info and our marriage info - and that he was living in Canada illegally since 13. shows he was granted a pardon. details our relationship doc's sent - photo's, cards, letters attesting to the relationship from friends and relatives.'
Shows our "cost recovery code" as FPC (Fees paid in Canada).

That's about it. shrug.

It told us alot about what we already know but somehow... I feel a little better just seeing his name on paper

For all of us is hard to be away from our loved ones. But we are strong and know what comes at the end. Good things have come out of JA in the last few weeks and there is more to come. When one by one we will be blasting that great UPDATE and Hubbys coming home.

Homesoon, sorry to hear CAIPS tells you nothing but the obvious. M19 is good - its the code for excessive demand exempt with no identified health condition. And it sounds from your circumstances they certainly can't be requesting the interview because they question the genuineness of the relationship. There must be somethign about his being here illegally as a child that requires further examination, except that since there was a pardon, that is a stretch too. Hopefully its really just a formality to confirm something about the past and then they can get on with your application. I take it the section on BDEC (background decision) is blank, meaningit hasn't been completed. Does hubby have an uber common name that could be adding to that timeline/creating interview requirement?

So interesting that you ask about his name. He has one of THE most common names in Jamaica - first and last. grrrrr hehehe
I agree, I think they'll question his history about entering Canada etc. so hopefully they'll see that he's trying to do everything the straight way this time around.

Did I read somewhere that today is a holiday in JA? Maybe I was dreaming?

I hope we get some updates by the end of the week - come on JA!

Yah by the looks of your CAIPS its definatly pertaining to his removal and the likelyhood of his illegal stay since he was way younger or like mizzy said in regards to the name ...Def not a genuiness to your marriage lol ..chin up girl ....and btw glad you got them in time . ;D LOL less is good at this point my girl ....well in regard to that it is !
