Congratulations, how was the process at the Canada airport and did you end up staying at the hotel for 3 days ?
The Trip was long and tiring , thank God my husband came down for me and baby. I was COVID + abt 3 weeks before travel so I skipped hotel quarantine, prearrival COVID test and also arrival test. I just needed to do home quarantine which I’m doing now. The lines were super long at the airports, we were connecting so we missed the second flight because of the lines and the landing process. All agents were super nice and the man we got for the landing process, he was nice , only asked the generic questions, collected my documents and seal the process. He said I should expect my PR card in 3-4 months. Ended up staying at a hotel on the Airport for a few hours because of the missed flight.
wow that means lots of people traveling glad you landed safely , enjoy your new beginning in Canada with your family. Ok I was wondering if I needed to download the ArriveCAN app before departure with hotel booking but I guess I will take my chances and don’t book it
Hi guys I landed last Thursday in Canada process at the airport was super easy and quick. However once I went to baggage claim the lines to do the covid test was super long however the staff is very helpful in getting you signed up ect. I was booked for a three day hotel stay because am not fully vaccinated but I only spend one night since my results came back the next day in the evening. I am now at home finishing my quarantine can’t wait for it to be over so I can go outside. Good luck to all. And no refund on the hotel if you get your results early and u leave there is no refund.
