I had a terrible day,

1. He was doing irrelevant shit in tge morning.
2. We were an hour late. I was ready from 11am waiting he didnt shower until 12:30 we left 12:50 for a 1pm appointment got infront on embassy 1:05 pm had to go bCk home to get passports and come back.
3. No visa on spot he said he got fustrated with officer because she kept asking why took so long to file even tho he gave her my reason. Then he added he was waiting on police clearance. So she then asked for copy of it.
4. Since we were late interview end 3:10 she kept passport and told him to email a copy and they will contact him when passport available for pick up.

Just curious about one thing you mentioned and when you get the time would appreciate if you could answer it for me.

The part where the VO asked why it took so long to apply.....what does that mean ?? My husband and I have been together for 7 yrs ( married for 5 and common law for 2 and we just applied now, because we decided to live in JA and start a business. Does this have an affect on application...what the heck ??

She took his passport. Isn't that a good indicator that she will issue visa once he sends in the copy of his police certificate? I am sure it's fustrating but try and remain positive

Oh boy! Geeze...what was it for weed ?? My hubby had a charge 100 JMD for a spliff that was expunged and that was never put on app as it was expunged and did not show on police record.

@wagggal I heard they question both sides...if you married and applied right after or if there is a long period after marriage to apply. Just answer confidently and you will be ok. Everyone has there reasons and there job has an agent is to question everything to ensure marriage is real. Everything will work out

No to both! we actually just had to wait for record to be expunged because of his charge

I was there but agent didnt ask to question me.. we since got hime and email copy of certificate as per her request so back to the waiting game gor him..

I check gckey and additional document changed from required to uploaded

Omg!!!! Well they have his passport so is only a short time. At least the interview is done and over with now. Marriage is tough let me tell you. I have been married for five going on six years and the long distant situations we put ourselves in does not make the journey any easier. BUT you have come this far so yuh know the love not gna waiver now and you guys are by each other side. This process is trying and has its unexpected but yah dunno he will get through!!!!

Good thing had said yes to that question and then explained that his charges was dropped. I can understand the confusion as that question was very hard to understand

They did the same thing to my husband as in your number 3. Then she called me in the room and asked me the same thing over twice. We got married August 2016 and filed may 2017.

What a rollercoaster day you had Luda. Glad the interview part is over with. Hubby will make the flight this month.
