So anyone booking a flight, do not book Fly Jamaica, I was trying to leave a week ago and as I got to the airport they cancelled all flights. Now that being said, the weather was horrible at the beginning of my trip but got nicer while I was there, they put me and my husband up in a hotel for 5 days. But the stress to get home and rebook a very expensive one way flight was crazy.

Been reading the threads here congratulations to who just submitted and who is waiting the next mode of action. If anyone experience here could help me I applied on sep 7 and medical request was Dec 23 what is the next step I would be waiting on?

If you already uploaded/ or submitted your police certificate and scheduleA next step is to wait for the call for interview or passport request

Did you use same lab?

The lab called me today after she received email from kvo that test was done. She said it usually takes them a few days to send and it takes her 5days to run test get results and send report back to kvo.. so I'm giving it 2weeks so hopefully will hear from KVo with interview date shortly after that...

No I’m with Orchid Pro DNA. When I spoke to the immigration officer in Kingston she said they usually try to send out the tests on a flight from Kingston the same day. And the lab takes 5 to 7 business days to send back the results.

Yes I am hoping interview call is within the next couple of weeks!!!!!!!!

you call and they will tell you what they are up too. I did this and they told me they weren't even close to mine and two days later I received my package back.

Hi Waggal, welcome to kvo Forum. I attached the link below for you to see. Let me know if you can enter your data or I can enter it. If you look at the time sheet you will see some people took more than 50 days to go from app received to sponsor approval. Did you get acknowledgment (AOR) or link of app? It may take long because of holiday too.

Please be advised that your application is currently in the queue for further review, following which any next steps will be determined. Should we require any additional information, we will contact you in writing at that point of time.

any body have any idea what that means? is it a good sign? bad sign? does it mean the bgck is finish? its 2 months after my interview now.

Actually, I just read from previous thread that you are applying under the UNHCR (UN Refugee Agency). Have you consulted on the processing time of this application as it may differ. Are you in Jamaica?
