We are so nervous cause you never know what they are going to ask, do they usually approve and issue visa on the spot or is there another waiting period. Does anyone know

Cause I we have been looking at flights and anytime after the 16th of Feb the tickets are expensive.

Even now the tickets are expensive I thought after January the price for flights would drop but there still high

No I am not going down I would love to but figure in my case it would be better to take the time off once he is here. To help him adjust. I have heard so many stories people visas are issued on the spot others have to hand it in etc. There is no consistency and it is so frustrating

It’s so hard to predict as some members in the thread have had the decision made and cuss issues on the spot. Where there are others who had their interviews and was told their passport would be sent in the mail with their visas. There are still members waiting for their passports after interview like in Marioo’s case.

That's true my husband interview is less than two weeks away it's on January 24 i really want to go but air Canada prices for that week is still close to $1000 i thought the price was dropping in January. Im thinking the same way as you it's better if I take time off when he gets here and I also have to think about the fact that he's going to need a whole new wardrobe when he arrives winter clothes shoes...... but I really hope they give it on the spot so we can be together sooner instead of waiting for them to mail it back but I'm really excited that the day is approaching very soon!!

no news for me. i dont know how long does this bakcground check proccessing take to be done. its almost 2 months and no news. i had couple trips out of the country. but does it take 2 months? they did not respond to my email i sent them couple days ago.

Bless up Mariooo, dont worry your self family. There are so many things to be thankful for trust me. I understand your frustration, you want to be with your family and get out of here. Seem so close but yet so far. Just gwan hold the faith me family. God has a plan and things is working just the way him want it to work for you...We all have you in our prayers and your time is coming just like everyone else. I use to wonder why things not working for me like others but my mother always instill some peace in me by saying " not everyone rice and peas ready the same time." Just gwan hold it little longer.
