Big thank you to the 2018 jamaica spousal group! You guys made the process less stressful. Thank you. For everyone waiting for interviews and their passports don't get discourage...keep fighting for your family. #reunification #familyfirst #jamaica2canada2theworld

Great news!!!! Hope I can get an update from dhl too. I didn’t see any letter on my cic. Not sure if belle got to open the one she saw.
@PrincessKm Belle was correct. They included the letter in the package. My hubby said he got the letter, passports with visas and our application including our greeting cards, letters. I am thankful they return them because they meant the world to me.

Alot went in to getting him there too. That's unfortunate.

Oh I know those it's a lot to get here I'm a on 4yrs journey waiting to have mine here... Only God can take him back once he takes off after getting that Visa..

The adjustment is certainly harder for some than others but it's all about faith and determination.

I left my home, family friends and everything I knew behind 18.5yrs ago and came to Canada as a teen and I cried every night but the opportunity and life style I got in return was worth it.

And as much as I love my homeland I visit 3times a year I'd never live there Canada in my home and I would never want to give it up.

So glad to hear

I signed up for dhl Notification when the waybill shipment gets picked up and Delivered. They would notify you via text. I found this helpful as the sponsor to keep an eye on the progress. Its just a matter of time for you PrincessKm.

Question for those who already got there visas. What is the time frame to leave the country? if the visa is issued today for example is it valid starting from the date of issue. or is there another date

so if the visa is issued on the spot does the date of departure start on that date meaning we can book a ticket the next day?

I have a question, if my husband has a PR card can he use that to go to the States, or does he still need a visa?
